"Oh, wow, have you played The Old Republic?" Indigo asked. "I was thinking about trying an MMO for summer break. I'm not like, a huge Star Wars fan or anything, but I heard the story was good and WoW is like old." He wanted to be on the cutting edge of everything, and though TOR had been out for months already, it was the best he could do when he wasn't home to play every day.

"Nah, I'm not into MMOs, they're not story bound enough. I guess if I was going to try one I'd go with Bioware's though, you know? They're like the story kings," Rhys said. "The Elder Scrolls MMO should be interesting, though. Of course, by then my computer will probably be out of date again." It was always good being able to lose himself in another world for a while.

"Hmm." Jory didn't know what the difference was between the two, but at least he got that the two didn't care for whatever a Mac was. As far as he knew mac went with cheese. "How has she been around school?" he asked, reaching out for the tiny kitten again.

"She wants to see everything," Hyacinth said, reaching out to touch Remiel's fluffy tail. "She is not so fast, but is happy in my pocket or hood to ride. I think she is Gryffindor, too!" She was brave, for such a tiny creature, and he was very happy he'd chosen her.

"I'm still p.o.'d at Bioware for ME3," Indigo said. "Can I?" he asked, interrupting himself to gesture to the smartphone. He wouldn't just open it up. "Anyway, I'll forgive them when the DLC comes out. Probably." He'd been grounded for a few days for his reaction, which might have been a little overboard, but after sixty-some hours of gameplay, he'd thought it was justified.

"Yeah, sure, look through it. Just ah...probably best if you don't look at the pictures, though," Rhys said. It was more because he couldn't remember exactly what was there than anything else. "Bioware's not getting a pound from me until I know what's in that DLC." He intended to wait to make sure it was better than his head-canon before he downloaded it.

"Maybe she's just got the best of all the houses," Jory said. "She's loyal like a Hufflepuff and brave like a Gryffindor." He didn't know what her other two traits might be, but she still had some growing to do, didn't she?

"I like that," Hyacinth said, agreeing with a light nod. "Kneazles are smart, yes? So she has also Ravenclaw. No Slytherin cunning. I have met one Slytherin, but I think that she did not like me." He frowned lightly, and his hair darkened to black. "Ah, maybe she had a bad day. I should not say bad things." He crossed himself and gave a brief prayer, both for his ill thoughts, and for the girl.

Indigo flicked a glance up at Rhys, then looked back down as he woke the phone up. And was promptly greeted by a picture of that wizard he'd seen earlier. "Dragon Age III," he said simply. There wasn't even a release date yet, but even he would break down for that one.

"If the DLC doesn't live up to what it should be, that's going to be one of the most painful decisions..." Rhys shook his head. Of course, Matthew would probably be thankful if he didn't buy another game like that, since what little free time he had was spent gaming, before he had met Matthew. His thoughts were interrupted by a movement from one of the other boys. Hyacinth?
"You crossed yourself? I didn't think most wizards were religious."

Jory wrinkled his nose. "Slytherins can be mean, and they usually don't have a reason. They don't like muggle borns. Well, stereotypically, anyway. There are some nicer ones, of course. There just tends to be a lot of purists in Slytherin."

Hyacinth's brows drew together at what Jory said, and he reached for his cross, even as he realized that the man who'd joined them was speaking to him. His hair paled to a disappointed grey before melting off into brown at the thought of religion. He looked over at the man.
"I have only been magical for three weeks, maybe," he said. "Before, I was in Luxembourg."

"His parents turned down the wizarding school in France, so he went to Muggle school," Indigo said, looking to Hyacinth for confirmation. He was more than a little disappointed that his gaming talk had been cut off, but it was technically rude to ditch the people you were out with, so he guessed he could survive. Especially considering some of the apps on the smartphone.

Rhys reached for the chain around his neck and pulled out the cross, dangling it against his thumb. "I just know how it is to be religious when the religion doesn't really..." he hovered quietly for a moment, rolling his eyes up as though the ceiling would give him the answer. "Approve of your lifestyle. It's interesting to see, even if you're new to the magic." But he thought people showed magic when they were very young.

Religion. Jory reached and pulled the tablet back toward him. He didn't know anything about religion to talk about, and much preferred to draw. Still, he kept an ear attuned to the conversation, because as far as he knew, Rhys was gay.
