Castiel nodded. Apparently it was weird for Muggle teenagers not to have Facebook things, and so he'd made Marius set one up for him. He put up pictures he found mostly, but it was too hard trying to type things when all the letters on the keyboard were mixed up, so no one got to see his poetry.

Indigo set down his spoon and reached into his bag, pulling out the HP EliteBook he'd gotten in the spring. It had a skin on it now, destroyed black stripes with a hand-drawn heart and some vector swirls in one corner, though he was considering changing it.
"Hold on and I'll add you," he said. He looked for the nearest plug. If he wanted to play while he was on the Hogwarts Express, he needed a full battery. Now; did he give these guys his Drowning Spirit account, or did he stick them with Indigo Noble?

Mari's eyes brightened all over again at that and he reached forward to open up his own computer. "Your laptop's really awesome," he said, tapping a couple of times on his own to bring up Facebook. "This one's like a year and a half old." It was annoying to have such a relatively old computer, but they didn't exactly have the money to buy him another of what was little more than a toy.

"My parents don't know much about computers, so I just told them what I wanted," Indigo said. He glanced up from the login screen. "They're Muggles, they're just... old." He was pretty sure his mother had thought she was menopausal when she was pregnant with him, though he didn't give it much thought.
He threw out some of the specs as he waited for everything to load and brought up Facebook, still debating. Drowning Spirit, or Indigo Noble? How far was he willing to let the guy in? The fact that he'd sent Annabelle directly to Drowning Spirit meant nothing. She was hot, and he'd been hoping to impress her.

"My mom's a muggle and wanted to make sure me and my brother had muggle and wizard stuff when we were growing up, so we got introduced to it all, it can just be kind of expensive," Mari said. "Oh, my name is Marius Reed, by the way, I just normally go by Mari when I'm not online." He had choice other names he went by, as well, but he wasn't sure how Indigo would feel about some of his nicks. He glanced over at Castiel, who had his own special name for Mari, and grinned again.

Castiel looked over from his perusal of ads in Cauldron to smile at Marius. Indigo seemed distracted, so he mouthed Kawaii-Kun, then made a brief kiss-face. There was absolutely no reason to mention any of that, considering how well it had all gone over at school. Well, their last school.

All apparent God-moding pre-approved by Marius's and Castiel's writers
"Marius Reed," Indigo repeated under his breath. He typed it into Facebook's searchbar and hit people, then looked at the results.
There were a handful of Marius Reeds, then a lot of Mariuses and a lot of Reeds, but it wasn't hard to find the one he was looking for. There was a hairless cat, a kid in a bathtub, and two too blurry to make out, then one of someone in a beanie with cat whiskers drawn on his cheeks. Indigo shook his head and clicked that one. He'd just check the guy out before he decided.
It looked like Marius understood privacy settings, though he didn't have it pulled nearly as tight as Indigo had his accounts. He followed the link to Castiel's page, which seemed to be made up solely of reposts. They seemed safe enough.
"Okay, I sent you both friend requests. It says Drowning Spirit, but it's me." The page his family knew about was lame, but not at all questionable. Drowning Spirit, however, had pictures, links to his blogs, and about everything except personal information. He dropped the new guys into his intnl wiz group and went to poke around.

Mari returned the silent, unseen air kiss, then grinned as the alert popped up that he had a friend request. Indigo was put in a group and then it was Mari's chance to dig around a little. It was probably rude to do so with Indigo sitting right there, but there wouldn't be another chance anytime soon, as far as he was aware. "You've got lots of friends," he commented. Well, a lot of people had lots of friends when compared to the relatively small number on his own page.

"Yeah," Indigo said, skimming Marius's timeline. He looked over the top of the screen at the guys. "A lot of them follow my blogs, but there are some wizards and witches mixed in. If I post something that mentions magic, go ahead and add to it, but be careful. If a Muggle sees something, a couple hundred people are going to block you."

A couple hundred? Castiel looked at Indigo with wide eyes, then peered over at Marius's screen. He personally had less than thirty friends, all of whom were either actual physical acquaintances or extended family. He couldn't imagine having hundreds of friends. And wizards!
He nudged Marius as subtly as possible, which wasn't nearly as subtly as he thought. They were now friends with Indigo Noble, who had hundreds of friends!

Mari all but giggled again at Castiel's not-so-subtle nudge. "I'll be careful, promise," he said. He was going to have to go to that place in Hogsmeade to read a little on Indigo's blog. "I don't post a lot, anyway, I play games most of the time when I'm on." It was something he liked about going home for holidays, when he was at school he didn't get to check in as often as he would like to.

"I like SongPop," Castiel piped in. He caught himself, and was glad he hadn't mentioned one of the cuter games, like Hello Kitty Cafe or Destiny Stone, which were guilty pleasures. SongPop was just guessing what song clips were, though. That was pretty easy, until someone from Spain or something challenged him, and then he just guessed.

"I play SongPop," Indigo said. "I used to play a vampire app, but it shut down last month, and the one my game friends switched to is seriously offensive." It was well built, and there was a huge sense of family for the players, but it was obviously set up by Muggles who were into the evil-and-gore viewpoint. He'd given his apologies to his Muggle game friends and blocked it.

"If I ever see you on the ones I play, I'll help you out," Mari said. He liked the brightly colored ones with cute characters, but that really wasn't surprising. "I never got into more serious games, they take too much focus." He laughed lightly and glanced toward Castiel. His friend knew well that he didn't have the attention span to focus on a serious game without the bright colors.

Castiel smiled at Marius. His friend's cafe was pretty awesome, if you liked cute things. Plus, Badtz-Maru popped up whenever food spoiled. The naughty little penguin was the only reason Castiel could really handle Marius's love of Sanrio. As for Destiny Stone, it was anime, but it was plenty dramatic enough for him. The best of both worlds, as far as he was concerned.
