"How long has your dad worked here?" Jory asked once they were away from the woman at the desk. He forcibly stopped himself from looking around too much, making himself focus on Celyn instead of examining the halls and other surroundings. He was so glad that none of his family had ever had to come here.

"For about six years." give or take a few months, but that didn't really matter. Celyn's dad enjoyed doing what he did and while it sometimes meant her father having to pull out during a family vacations, she was happy he was happy and that was all that mattered to her. Celyn made her way towards the door at the end of the hall. Muttering the password, she pushed the door open and almost cringed at the sight. There were rows and rows of tombstones, some named, some people merely numbers. It was bright outside clear skies and flowers blooming everywhere. Colorful, cheerful, and yet a stark contrast to the tombstones. Irony at it's most physical manifestation. "Sometimes I wonder if we'll all just become numbers." number 68D 52C or whatever number they would assign her. All because they had no family, no one to identify them. Her father had told her some sad stories about people who wandered in with no memory and despite magical efforts never remembered anything and no one came in to claim them. It was one of those reasons she wasn't fond of St. Mungo's. Behind every door was a story, and each story was sadder than the one before it. Celyn unconsciously held the Jarvey closer to her chest. Walking slowly, waving through the tombstones, the names and numbers her eyes tried to avoid, but failed.[/blockquote]

Jory looked around once, but then focused on following Celyn. "I don't think about it," he said, feeling uneasy just at the thought of thinking about it. As spiritual as he could be at times, he didn't enjoy thinking about death. He didn't know what would happen, and he didn't want to freak himself out by trying to figure it out. It was better to just live.
