Cassie arrived at the corridor with the Room of Requirement and leisurely walked back and forth until a door appeared in the wall. Grabbing the handle she twisted it open and stepped inside. She smiled, pleased the room had given her exactly what she wanted. It was a simple room, with tall windows which let the sunlight stream in, a wooden floor and a wall of mirrors with a ballet barre cutting them in two.
She dumped her bag and sat down, changing her ordinary sneakers for her ballet shoes. Taking off her jumper she was now just wearing her leotard and shorts. She pulled a CD out of her bag and walked over to the stereo the room had given her. She placed the CD in the tray and pressed the play button. It had arrived from her mother earlier that day, it was a new piece of music from the college that they wanted her to choreograph a performance to.
She smiled as music filled the air. It was a soulful piece and before Cassie felt restrained by set movement, she allowed herself to be moved by the music, whirling and stepping round the room, her eyes closed she lost herself to interpreting the music.

Dare was taking a break from the outdoors. The grounds were awesome, but he'd remembered his father telling him and Silver about the Room of Requirement, and decided that locating it would be a decent use of his free time.
He was sure he'd found the right corridor by the tapestry of that Barmy guy teaching trolls ballet. A few paces back and forth concentrating on somewhere he could sketch, and a doorknob appeared, just like that.
Dare opened the door and stepped into a well-lit room, though it wasn't quite what he'd imagined, and it wasn't unoccupied. There was a girl dancing, and music, something he'd missed, since his headphones were rendered useless here.
He let the door swing closed, wondering if the girl would even hear him. He probably should've just turned and left, but the music. He knew what he was going to ask for next time he came in here.

Cassie heard the door shut and whirled to a stop, facing the door. She walked over to the stereo and stopped the music. Turning back to face the new arrival once peace had descended she smiled, knowing instantly who it was. "You must be Dare" she said, running her hand through her hair.

Dare's brows rose a bit. "You've met Silver," he observed. Dare walked farther into the room, regretting the loss of the music, even if it wasn't anything like what he usually listened to. "You've got the advantage here; what's your name?" he asked, taking in the girl with the room in one sweeping look. "You're a dancer?"

"Cassandra" Cassie replied, taking a few steps forward as she judged the difference between the brothers. Dare had that self assured air to him that Cassie was used to. Silver had been shaking in his boots when talking to her. She liked his edgy look, as it was similar to her own. "You can call me Cass, or Cassie though" she added, still not able to understand why she was saying Cassandra to everybody. "And yes I'm a dancer" she said, gesturing to her lack of proper attire.

"Cassie, then." Dare gave a crooked smile at her gesture. "I figured I'd ask," he said. "For all I know you're having a private costume party." It was a joke, an obvious one, considering the room looked like a dance studio. "So where'd you run into Silver?" he asked, mildly curious.

"In the forest, I gave him a dancing lesson" Cassie said with a grin as she stretched so her muscles didn't seize up. Straightening out her slender frame again she looked at Dare, "You seem much more, how can I put this" Cassie started, biting her lip, "fasion forward than Silver" Cassie finsihed honestly.

Dare laughed out loud, both Cassie's comments hitting him as funny. "Don't tell him that. He's stuck in the 70's or something, I don't know." His gaze dropped to Cassie's feet, neither of which looked like it had been flattened. "What kind of dancing lesson did you give him?" He couldn't imagine it was very long, if she'd survived. The thought was no comment on her skills as an instructor, but he'd seen his brother dance, and he was convinced that Silver was hopeless.

Cassie shrugged, "He said he had two left feet, it was extremely basic, nothing like my level of dancing" Cassie said, not noticing that what she had just said might sound like bragging, although it hadn't meant to be. "So anyway, it was just a couple of steps and I didn't get stepped on" Cassie said as she noticed Dare looking at her feet, she went on pointe, her blocks allowing her to gain a couple of inches in height. "I can't aford to miss days, as I'm not at college anymore" Cassie trailed off, running her hand through her hair.

"College?" Dare's eyes rose up to Cassie's face. "You don't look old enough for college. Aren't you supposed to be like, eighteen or something? Past all...this?" he asked, gesturing around the room, but referring to the school itself. It didn't occur to him to comment on the Muggle aspects of what she'd said. They were in a ballet studio, after all, so it had already occurred to him.

"Ohhh, I went to a performing arts college before I came here" she answered quickly, clearing up the confusion. "That's just what they call it for some reason, not arts school, arts college" she said shrugging. She spiralled round, staying on pointe and stopped as she faced Dare again. "I guess you could say dance is my thing, along with a bit of art" she added for good measure. "Do you have a thing?" she asked her eyes bright with interest, as she finally came down off point. She sat on the floor and gestured to Dare, silently inviting him to sit next to her.

Dare's lips curved, alternate meanings to her words occuring to him, but quickly getting pushed aside. "Yeah, I have a thing," he said, eyes shining with amusement. He sat down next to Cassie, folding his long legs Indian-style. "A bit of art," he said, playing on her words. "I usually have a sketchbook with me, but I was pretty much just seeing if I could find this place, so I didn't bring it along. You're a good dancer," he said, by the way.

Cassie laughed softly as the other meanings occurred to her, but she brushed it off the listen to Dare. Without saying anything Cassie got up and walked over to her bag, she pulled out her own sketchbook and sat down again, offering it to Dare. "It's mostly rough pencil or charcoal sketches of dancers" Cassie said, "I focus on my dancing, and thanks, I trained for a long time" Cassie said in response to his compliment.

Dare took Cassie's sketchbook and flipped it open, his gaze moving over each picture in turn. "You're pretty good," he observed. "Nice eye for linework." He gestured over a sweeping line with one hand, visually tracing it. "You've been dancing long enough you probably have a pretty good idea what you're looking for, don't you?" And that was the key to drawing, not that most people believed it. Not so much the motion of your hand, though that did count, but the way you saw things to begin with.

Cassie nodded, "We had looking at things drilled into us, it was the way we learned the countless positions" Cassie explained. "Some of them I drew with my eyes closed" Cassie said, nodding to the sketch book as she began to unlace her ballet ribbons and easer her shoes off her feet. "And thanks, I know I'm not brilliant, but they're recognisable dancers" she said with a smile. "It would be great to see some of your stuff one day" Cassie said, hoping he wouldn't say no.
