"What does it even do?" Indigo asked. "I mean, it can't turn into everything, right?" He turned his head slightly against the loveseat's back to look over at Jory. He didn't see anything weird at all about desperately seeking Internet. "To search for stuff, you need Internet, and that's a service, like... Like the computer's a coffee shop. You can go in and look at what's already there, but if you want coffee, you have to pay for it. Even if it could make a computer room, it couldn't make Internet, because Muggle stuff can't go in and out like it'd need to."

"I dunno, I heard of people going in to watch movies before," Jory said. More often, people used it for specific other things, but he did hear of alternative uses from time to time. "I don't know what all it can do when it comes to muggle stuff, I don't know enough to have ever tried." He didn't normally really even care about muggle things.

"Have you been in?" Indigo asked. "I haven't, so I just know what I've heard." Which really wasn't much. He knew how you were supposed to get in, but once people started talking about what they'd done inside, they tended to get quiet. It was one thing listening to someone talking, and another to strain yourself eavesdropping.

Jory nodded, "Yeah, I'll go in there sometimes to study. No one can get in if I don't want them to and it can be like a planetarium if I want it to be." It was great for study, but half the time it was already taken up by some couple that wanted some special alone time. He had used it with Lyric a few times, but he would rather not think about the second phase of their failed...could it even be called a relationship?

"No one can get in?" That was interesting. "If you can watch movies, and you can lock people out, you wouldn't need the Internet anyway. You could just get the room to show you movies, right?" It still wouldn't let him post to his blog, but he'd bet he could wish up a couple of the video games his parents hadn't gotten him.

"I guess, the room's pretty useful. I could show it to you sometime if you wanted," Jory offered. "Assuming we get there before someone else claims it or something." It was always annoying trying to figure out if someone else was in the room. The door wouldn't show up if the person inside didn't want to be interrupted, and the door wouldn't show up if it wasn't summoned right.

"Sounds good," Indigo said. He shifted in place, then lifted his head from the loveseat. "You're done here, right?" He glanced over at the book. "I was just using the Internet..." Just using it. He supposed he could write a better blog post if he actually went and did something, assuming Jory wanted to do something. He didn't sound pushy, did he?

"Oh, yeah, I would've left a while ago but you distracted me," Jory said. Of course, he didn't mind in the least having been distracted. He had just been going to the dorm to pour through his book, something he could do whenever he wanted, really. "Do you want to go today, then?"

Indigo had parted his lips to apologize for interrupting, but was stopped by that question. He glanced over at Jory, then away again as he shrugged. "I guess," he said. He felt like a tag-along, though. Not only had he apparently distracted Jory from whatever he'd been doing, but he'd more or less invited himself along. He didn't know how Jory's grades were, but he'd said he went to the Room to study, and he was a prefect...

"I was just going to be reading this," Jory said, picking up his book again. "Right now I kinda think I'd rather hang out a bit instead." He hadn't had much human contact outside of classes and it was a nice change to be sitting talking to someone. At the it was strange to remember it was a straight guy and there hadn't been any issues. Jory wasn't going to argue, though.

"Okay, it'll just take a minute to get my stuff together," Indigo said. He tapped his touchpad to clear the screensaver, then posted a brief message saying he was off for the night. He closed his browser, since it would save what he'd already written, and started gathering his things. Soon, they were out the door and on to better things. Maybe.
