The infamous Room of Requirement was right across where she stood; the wall looking innocently at her as if tempting her to try her luck. For so long she never knew of the existence of this room, until three years ago when it because a popular spot for all students in Hogwarts and by the time she found out about it, she never had the chance to actually use it. Feeling like she could get lucky this once she paced back and forth with a very vivid image of what she wanted. Looking up a deep red door appeared and she excitedly pried the door open only to let out a faint laugh.
Leaving the door a jar open, she looked around with excited eyes. The room was large with chairs and sofa’s scattered around and a giant bed in the center of the room. The sheer canopy curtains hung lightly around the bed while a large object stood only a foot away. Coming over to the object she leaned down. The large stereo stared back at her, tempting her and she could tell just by touching it that it was magically modified. Turning it on the music that blared made her laugh loudly. It was one of her favorite muggle bands. The German band had recently sky rocketed in popularity and was renown worldwide. The song that came up was not her number one favorite, but it was the one she always listened to when in a fun loving mood and she thoroughly loved anyways. The lead singers’ voice blaring out with the word 'Scream' in the chorus. There was a German original version to this song, but she felt like singing along and while the lead singers voice in the German version was much younger and to her more fun, the English version was much easier to understand for her understanding in the German department was quite lacking.
Walking up to the bed she kicked off her shoes and hopped on the bed lips set in a gentle smile. In an instant she began jumping up an down much like a child and she honestly didn’t have a care. The past few weeks had been pretty hectic emotionally and she was glad to let all of it just go. She wouldn’t dwell on any emotional set-backs she may have experience and star a new for the next upcoming weeks.
Her jumping gained in speed and the feeling was exhilarating. She started to shake and dance which she wasn’t too bad at, but at this point if anyone walked in the first thoughts in their mind would be something like ‘what the f***’. Singing the song, Celyn joined in with the lead singer… Celyn had forgotten that the door was still open.

Lyric had only really come back to the school for the free food, but after a quarter of a sandwich, he'd gotten bored and left the Great Hall. While he was here, he wanted to go to the Astronomy Tower, to stand on the wall and decide if it was time to jump. He'd almost done it before and thought about it every time he was sober, but that wasn't often so he tended not to.
He'd gotten all the way up to the seventh floor without changing his mind or running into anyone he knew, but before he'd reached the end of the corridor and the next set of stairs, he heard music.
He knew the band and the song playing, and if he hadn't been sober he might have kept walking. He stopped in the corridor, though. Why the hell did it have to remind him of Jory? Because that's what he was listening to... He shouldn't be thinking about that. Jory didn't care what he did, and since he hadn't heard any more of his secrets leaking into the hallways, he told himself he didn't care what Jory did, either.
SCREAM! and when it hurts you, scream it out loud!
It took him that long to realize where he was and that it was coming from the Room of Requirement, not some abandoned classroom. The door was open; was someone having a party? He looked both ways down the corridor, then ducked into the nearest alcove. The song would be over by the time he was done, but his mind would be gone enough to cope with however many people might be in that room.
It took a few minutes, but Lyric emerged from the alcove with his duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He checked out the corridor again, then tipped his chin up and headed for the doorway. To find that there was only one person inside, bouncing enthusiastically on a bed. He didn't recognize her, not for a second, not with his mind where it was, but shrugged and headed into the room. A party was a party.

The song was almost done, she wanted to pout, but the next song that came on made her laugh loudly. It was one of the bands more recent release and she had to admit, she had taken a liking to the song. “Against the rules, Against the force, Against the wall.” [/i] she hadn’t realized that she was singing along, but she was having too much fun to care. Turning around while she jumped she looked over and saw a figure. At first her vision was too blurred to focus, coming to a stop slowly she was finally able to recognize who it was. Trent’s hair had changed a bit, it was less wild and more tame that it was before, but still poked out at the ends. Smiling brightly, she felt like their last encounter which was ages ago shouldn’t affect this one. “How about you join me! Beats doing work.”[/color] She jumped and came falling down on the bed cross legged while looking at him with mild curiosity. She pushed herself up in a kneeling position if he was going to walk right out then she wouldn’t really mind it so much, he didn’t seem the type to do something deemed ridiculous to most, but people usually turned out to be different then what she would first expect.[/blockquote]

Lyric decided that he didn't have anything better to do. He could jump off the Astronomy tower any time he wanted, and he'd stopped going to class almost entirely. This would be something different, at least. Whatever it was.
"Is the party ending or starting?" he asked, walking further into the room. There was enough furniture for a couple Quidditch teams, but he hadn't seen anyone else coming or going. Not that it mattered, since he intended to stay whatever the answer was. There were few people at Hogwarts aside from the faculty that he'd actually leave a party for.
He dropped his duffel bag next to the bed and stood beside it, tucking his thumb just in the edge of his pants as he waited for an answer. Since he'd run into that freaked-out ex-addict in the Shack, he'd added a couple more spells to guarantee no one could walk off with his bag or the contents.

So he thought this was a party? Well to her it was a personal party that she wouldn’t mind sharing with one more. “Just started, it was going to be a party of one, but I’m sure there’s enough room to squeeze you in Trent.” [/b] she was sure that was his name. He was amongst the handful of names she needed to memorize and so the name came to her easily. Celyn stood up her smile warming up, so was that an acceptance to her offer? As he threw his bag down, her smile was brighter and perhaps he wasn’t the type to think himself above the silliness of jumping on a bed. Turning her head to the ‘magic stereo’ she pointed her head in it’s direction. “You can think up any song and it’ll just play.”[/color] As she spoke the room seemed to understand that she needed him to hear her so the volume lowered as if it was proving her point. “You can invite people, but most don’t care about jumping on beds. It’s beneath them.” She mentally scowled, they were missing out not her.[/blockquote]

Lyric blinked slowly at the sound of his name, but decided he didn't care how she knew it. Quinn had known, too; why not everyone else? There wasn't a moment that he felt like he ought to recognize the girl, but he did the same thing he always did and went on as though it didn't matter who he was talking to or if they'd met before. He didn't really care unless he intended to see them again.
"There's no one I'd invite," he said, turning down her offer whether it was a tease or not. Who would he invite? Quinn? Maybe. Jory? Yeah, in some alternate universe where he could be f~ed up and still be worth something. It was a pathetically short list at best.
He turned his attention back to the girl, hoping things kicked in soon. "I'm coming up," he decided. He pushed off his carelessly-unlaced boots next to his bag, then hauled himself up to stand on the bed across from her. He wasn't interested in changing the music just yet. This song seemed to fit him right now.

That made the both of them. Celyn really didn't have a person in mind that she would invite, and the small handful of people she did know weren't exactly party material nor friends, as if she had any of those. "I never liked large parties anyways." she watched as he shed his boots and there was a barely recognizable increase in the volume.
As he made his way on the bed, she clapped her hands together and the volume rose to its highest, the music would probably be heard down the stairs, but she honestly could care less.. She shut her eyes, waiting for the music to translate into the body language of dance. For a moment she was only swaying to the music, but immediately after she had take to jumping once more and dancing not minding the fact that she wasn't alone anymore. She could sacrifice her pride and dignity this once...

Pride and dignity were foreign words when manufactured energy swept through Lyric at last. What started as letting the bed bounce him slightly with the girl's movements became a slight bounce of his own, and by the time Humanoid had ended and Hey You had begun, he was jumping along without a care.
He didn't give a thought to the strong chance of the girl noticing the transformation in him. She was jumping too, so what should she care if his lips were curved in unselfconscious pleasure? Why would she even notice if his pupils were a little too wide? After that last conversation with Jory in the dorm, he figured he was pretty much invisible. The thought made him laugh. Him, invisible.

The switch of music only made her more excited. He knew the band! She never expected another wizard, but then again a lot of wizards knew about the muggle world, especially since the whole ‘pro-pureblood anti-muggle’ thing was getting overrated.
The bed started to move beside her, she opened her eyes and smiled brightly at him; he had joined in. It was moments like these she felt were worth living for. When you could just be and not care about consequences, fears, hates… lust. She could jump around with a person who was almost a total stranger and still have fun. “Come on, you can look at me I don't need to fit in…” [/i] her singing wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great or anything special, but she managed to keep up with the singer and sang on key. So absorbed by the music, she jumped up high, snatching at the canopy and pulling of one side. The sheer ivory floated down on their heads, enveloping them as it smoothly glided over her bare arms. Holding the snatched canopy in her hand, she held it behind her, arms stretched out as if they were wings and she danced around, her jumping moving to the beat of the sound. Celyn didn’t realize that the jumping brought her closer to him, she was too absorbed in the music.[/blockquote]

Lyric didn't care about anything besides music and motion. He laughed when the canopy fell, laughed when she wrapped it around herself and reached out to grab at the edge of it. He could see the wings she'd made, and he wanted wings, or maybe he just wanted to fly. He tugged at the corner a moment, then turned his attention to seeing how far off the bed he could get his feet. He jumped high, tucking his legs beneath him only to put them down and jump again.
He didn't notice how close to him the girl was getting, and it didn't matter as long as the party went on. All that you've got, just let it out. Ready or not, just turn it up—Louder! The music obliged, rising to concert levels, and he belted out the lyrics as he jumped. Don't let it stop—Louder! Just turn it up—Louder! Whats making you hot—Louder! Just turn it up!

Celyn heard him laughing and couldn't help but laugh along with him. It felt so good to let loose and she made up her mind, she would do this more often. Her mind seemed to be working with her body, the two were not clashing the way they usually were and while her body enjoyed the rush she was getting, her mind felt more rested the two seemed to be 'happy'.
As he sang, she joined him, her voice not as deep as his, but they sounded good together. "I can sing louder than you!" her voice was barely able to carry on to him, but he would hear her. Continuing to sing, only much louder this time, even the music seemed to be competing, reaching levels that was only present in concerts.
Using her new found wings, she pretended to glide around like a bird. her outstretched arms still far from him, but then she raised her arms in the air and twirled the canopy. She would have attempted to jump just as high as him, but she knew she would fail. Instead she played with the canopy. She still hadn't realized how close she was to him at this point, she had been too busy jumping and fooling around to care.

Lyric jumped harder and sang louder, though he was hardly aware of the words anymore. You can, if you wanna see—Touch, I'm only human. It felt so good to take all the desperation he felt for something to hold onto and scream it out instead of holding it in. Sometimes he watched the girl, but mostly his eyes were closed, just soaking in sensation and music so loud he couldn't think. He let the music be his thoughts and absolved himself of the responsibility to think. Somebody, anybody...

The song slowly faded out, the next song that came up may not have been as upbeat, but the chorus in conjunction to the high volume was enough. During the beginning she threw the canopy up in the air, it fell down on their heads, but she was ignoring it at this point laughing and singing as loud as possible; by the end of this day she knew her throat would be completely sore, but it was well worth it.
Taking a deep breath she belted out with the new song. "Ready set go it's time to run! The sky is changing we are one..." [/i][/color] she wanted to be able to feel like this all the time. The idea of stopping was unwanted, she was scared that if she did she'd have to return to acting 'normal' and being like the rest. Why should she? Why did she need to? Why couldn't she be a child whenever she wanted to and not wait for such opportunities? Her hair was turning into a complete mess, sticking out in every direction. "Ha! I can pull off your look too!"[/color] she pointed to her hair, she knew that all she needed to do was just comb it with her hand and it would return to it's former state, but she didn't want to! She loved Trent's 'lion mane' and the idea of herself having such hair amused her.[/blockquote]

Lyric laughed and shook his head playfully, his already full hair bouncing and swaying with the motion. "I still do it better!" he laughed. He was having too much fun to take teasing seriously, and it didn't even occur to him that at a different time he might have been offended.
He caught the canopy and tugged it around behind him, his bouncing slowing with the concentration it took not to topple over. He laughed at himself, then grinned at the girl. "Mine now," he said, and taunted by waving one end in her face.

His laughter was so pleasant, so carefree, nothing like the Trent she previously met. All signs of seriousness, and the dark aura around him were completely gone. Did this mean that whatever barrier he had before was gone? Was this temporary, induced by the fact that they were alone and no one else would know, was this real Trent? He seemed so fun loving, like her friend back in the U.S and it brought upon nostalgia and excitement intertwined in one.
As he shook out his hair, she couldn’t help but agree. “I envy your hair and it’s awesome tendency to defy gravity.” [/b] There was a tiny pout, but in an instant it returned to a smile. Watching as he snatched the canopy her eyes widened with mock horror and her own jumping slowed down. “No mine!” her voice was slightly higher as her sound become more childish. She reached to get it, but to no avail, was this the beginning of a second game? Despite the fact that she wanted to look upset, she was still grinning and her voice was etched with a hint of laughter.[/blockquote]
