Cleo stepped into the shop, pushing her sunglasses up to balance on her head as she did so. She looked around, pleased with the sight that greeted her. Rows and rows of sparkling jewellery were a feast for the eyes. She let the door swing shut behind her as she moved further into the shop. "Hello?" she called out, wondering where the owner of the shop was. As she waited she leaned against the counter, tugging down the hem of her tank top so that it overlapped with her short skirt.

Emilian came out from behind a display and narrowed his eyes at the sight that greeted him. It wasn't a bad narrowing of the eyes, but one that said he was appreciating the view, even if it only lasted a second. "Can I help you?" he asked, glad for the distraction she offered. He had been on edge ever since the meeting with Adara's father, Herr Snow, and had heard from the man that owned the shop by his that there was some strange man stopping people as they left Emilian's shop.

Cleo turned round, an easy smile on her face. "I hope you can" she replied, her voce soft. "I'm looking for some new jewellery. What do you think are your best pieces?" she asked. Her eyes brushed over him, judging him, there was a rugged attractiveness to him that appealed to her. She ran a hand through her caramel locks and looked around, wondering what he would pick out for her, she had definite tastes and she wondered if he could match them.

Emilian walked up to her, looking her over. One of the perks of dealing with jewellery was that he was allowed to do so without guilt, though he did still feel a twinge of guilt when he thought of Adara. His eyes trailed over to a display case of pale gold pieces. "Best pieces and pieces that would look good on you are two very different things," he said, leading her over to the case. Not that he didn't have best pieces in each category, but best pieces changed from person to person.

Cleo thought about this for a moment. "I didn't specify what best meant." she retorted softly, "Best can mean, most expensive, most beautiful and best for me" she said, she looked up at him. "I'm looking for all three" she finished, inspecting the pieces of jewellery before her. "If you manage to find something for me, than I'm happy to shop here more often, especially since it's not my money" with this thought she grinned, her parents could pay for everything for all she cared.

"I shouldn't have much problem finding something for you," Emilian commented, looking from her to the case. He couldn't keep Adara from his mind, but he also couldn't keep his eyes from wandering on the girl in front of him. "What are you looking for?" he asked, wondering if she wanted a set or individual pieces and, if so, what.

Cleo stood, chewing her lip gently with a lock of hair twirling round her finger as she thought. "A set, and maybe some cute, everday earings, then a few bracelets and a necklace." she said firmly. "And anything else I see and like" she said, saying this as she looked at Emilian, the double meaning subtle yet there if he wanted it to be. She smiled innocently at him, though her intentions were often far from angelic.

Emilian watched the motion of her hair around her finger absently, and he didn't miss the double meaning in her words, not when he had been the expert in it. "You want to just take this whole case, then?" he asked sarcastically, leaning over it and looking down into it. "How's that for a necklace?" he asked, pointing down to a thin, medium length chain with a large gold wire heart in the middle of it.

Cleo grinned at his words, she obviously had found someone more than a match for her sharp tongue. She bit back a report, wanting to find jewellery first. "I like the necklace" she said, nodding as she looked down at the case. "Can I try it on?" she asked.

Emilian pulled his wand from his waistband, nodding, and tapped the glass of the display. He reached in and pulled out the necklace to hand to her. "Can you manage?" he asked, figuring she wouldn't care if he wasn't the most polite shopkeeper in the world. He didn't exactly feel like trying to be overly polite, not when he was so preoccupied with other things.
((I swear I posted this before, but the internet went out for a second there...stupid storm))

((Not a problem, my internet was mucked up earlier))
"It would be easier if you did it" she said, she pulled her hair out of the way and twisted away from him so he didn't have a choice. She knew that by a combination of those things, he would both scent her intoxicating but delicate perfume and he would also see the tiny tattoo she had of a butterfly on her neck. Hardly anyone knew she had it and she smiled as she wondered just how much of her parents money she could spend.

Emilian took one end of the necklace and reached around her to take the other end, forcefully ignoring the brush of his arm against her and the smell of her perfume. "Is that the only one you have?" he asked about the tattoo as he clipped the clasp behind her neck. It didn't surprise him to see that she had a tattoo, she seemed like the kind of girl that would have one. Nothing negative against her, he had just come to find that there were some girls that he just knew would have one.

Cleo let her hair drop after the claps had been done up. She turned back to face Emilian nodding. "At the moment yes, although I was thinking of getting another one soon." She turned to a mirror and looked at the necklace, at the gold against her skin. She smiled at him. "I like it" she said, pleased she had found something so quickly. "What do you think?" she asked, the question in itself was innocent enough, but it meant that he now had a reason to look at her, appraising what he found.

"I wouldn't have picked it out if I didn't think it would look good on you," he said, crossing his arms and leaning against the short display. Emilian, though, was never one to turn down an offer, and let his eyes trail down her body, even if he knew he wouldn't act on it. It hadn't even been a week since he had last seen Adara, he wasn't starved enough to mess it up yet. He had made it a month last time, he figured he'd be able to last a little longer this time.

"But thinking and actually seing are different things" she said. "Anyway, earrings and bracelets next" she said, walking to the other side of the shop and peering into the display, leaning over so she could see the earings more clearly. Without even realising it she began to sing very softly under her breath, a soft tune of springtime.
