"I figured I would rather be safe than sorry, make myself clear that I take my business seriously," Emilian said, a glint in his eyes. "I don't doubt they have the money, but sometimes parents aren't that keen on having large amounts withdrawn like that, and I don't give refunds." Though he would fix something if it broke, he wouldn't take it back.

Cleo shook her head. "My parent's couldnt' care less. As long as I haven't murdered someone, eloped or brought shame on the name of Frost, they can overlook my behaviour" she said. The relationship with her parents was odd, and far too complicated to explain.

Emilian nodded, "For all I've done I'm still getting a hefty inheritance." He did know that it had been downsized a bit for the episode with Savannah, but that wasn't saying much considering how much he was still getting. "High society," Emilian said, shaking his head slightly.

Cleo rolled her eyes. "Tell me about it" she said, she knew what Emilian meant, she had been brought up in the high flying social circles graced by only a handful of the elite pure blood families. "They balls I enjoy, my parents can't keep an eye on me for the whole evening and they are usually a good opportunity for some fun" she said, not able to keep a grin from her face.

The glint in Emilian's eyes turned slightly dangerous, "Yes, I always enjoyed the balls. Though the majority of my time wasn't spent actually on the floor. However much I enjoyed dancing, the things I wanted to do weren't always appropriate for the dance floor." He did enjoy dancing, but he used it mostly as a tool to get the girl he wanted to agree to do...other things with him.

Cleo nodded, a sly grin showing she understood. "Yes I danced to please my parents, but I often escaped to the gardens and I often wasn't alone" she said. She had always enjoyed herself at the balls, though it was never the dancing from which she got the most satisfacion.

"Generally the balls I went to were held in people's homes, so I was generally lucky enough to find a bedroom," he said, remembering. Of course, the last ball he had went to he had definitely ended up in the gardens, and he didn't regret the lack of a bedroom in the least. The image of the skin at the top of Adara's dress flashed into his mind, making his lips curl up in a grin.

Cleo laughed, "Bedrooms were a luxury I couldn't often afford." she said. "Finding one was too time consuming when I had such a long waiting list" she grinned again. She stood up properly and picked up the bag with her new purchases. "I should get going" she said.

Emilian nodded, "It's been a pleasure," he said, bowing his head slightly and straightening up. He didn't mind her leaving, he could only stand so much social interaction at a time now that he had so much stress from worrying about Adara, though he did hope the girl would come back, especially if she made another purchase like that.

Cleo gave Emilian a fleeting smile. "I'm sure" she said softly, before sweeping out of the shop. Lowering her sunglasses she strolled up the street, happy with her new purchases and a lot to think about.
