"You own a club?" he asked, genuine interest lighting his eyes. He'd heard the rest, but focused on the one that surprised him the most. "Yeah, I can see where you'd be strapped for time." It was one thing writing in class, where he could pass it off as taking notes, but when you were in charge of something like that, there wasn't really an option.

"Yeah, the Bloody Mary, me and a friend started it up and then she got kicked out so it's just me now." There actually hadn't been much time of co-ownership, Jen had left a couple of months after they started the club. "We figured that the school needed something to do, because really there's not that much. Come down sometime, I'll give you a drink," she said, grinning. She gave out a lot of free drinks, generally the first time a friend came by, but it wasn't that big of a deal, as long as she made enough to keep the place running she was fine.

Silver's smile returned, widening at the invitation. "I'd like that," he said, transparently pleased at the whole idea of it. His major crush on Cassie was forgotten for the moment for his budding crush on Dru. She was surprisingly easy to talk to, and yeah, her eyes were amazing. He wondered if they were any brighter without the barrier of her glasses.
Silver glanced down at his book, still smiling, just needing to break the spell before he got too obvious. It was one thing to look at a girl, and another to gaze longingly while they were fully aware of it.

Dru continued watching Silver, even when he looked away. Soon enough she fell into silence, her gaze thoughtful. She wasn't with Chase, so wanting to see Silver again wasn't wrong, but was it wrong for her to not tell him about the strange relationship? Her thoughts jumped back to how tall Silver had seemed while he had been standing, she wondered how tall he was, or if he just seemed so because she had been sitting and he was so long and lanky.

When Silver looked back up at Dru, silence still hung between them. He was surprised to realize that he hadn't been scrambling through thoughts trying to find something to fill the space. "You're easy to talk to," he said, wondering what it was. Maybe he'd just worked out his nerves earlier in the forest, but somehow he doubted it, and whatever it was, he was grateful for it.

"So are you, this has been one of the easiest conversations I've had in a while," Dru said, smiling. Other than the miracles that had been conversations with Chase, her last few experiences hadn't been that great. Her smile faltered and her eyes darkened slightly when she thought of her talk with Cassie earlier and she looked away.

Silver watched Dru, his smile fading at the sudden darkess he saw wash through her. He didn't know what to do about it, though. If it was Dare, he'd risk getting punched and tell him to stop being so Emo, but he hardly knew Dru. Still, what was he supposed to do? Just ignore it? "Are you okay?" he managed, feeling how inadequate the words probably were.

Dru blinked, trying to focus, "I don't think I'm allowed to be okay anymore." She said, putting on a smile and looking back up at him, it seemed like every time she was in a good mood it was put down. "Sorry, it's....complicated." Words she thought she would never use. It had always annoyed her when people said it, but it was the only word that worked for her situation.

"Oh," Silver said, nodding lightly in understanding. If she didn't want to talk about it, or if she didn't know him well enough to talk about it, he'd just respect that and let it go, even if he wished he could help. "It's okay, you don't have to..."

Dru debated telling him, maybe getting someone's thoughts on it who wasn't involved would be good for her. "Well..." she trailed off, but then bit her lip and looked away, "You don't want to hear about it anyways." She wanted to tell him, but she didn't want to just blurt everything out when she didn't even really understand. Why would he want to hear about the guy problems of a girl he'd just met?

If he hadn't been interested before, her avoidance was changing that. "If you want to..." He looked at her, curious now. It was obviously bothering her, and maybe whatever it was he could help with. Maybe it was a good way to get to know her. Maybe he stood just the slightest chance...

Dru looked up at him, unsure, her eyebrows coming together as she debated. "Don't think bad of me?" she asked, knowing how some parts of it were going to sound. She didn't want him to think of her as a bad person, or an idiotic girl that couldn't think straight when it came to guys. She searched his beautiful eyes, needing to know that he wouldn't judge her before she said anything.

"No, no I won't think bad of you," Silver assured her. He didn't have a clue what was wrong, but it didn't sound like it could be at all good, and he suddenly had deep reservations about whatever it was she was about to tell him. But he wouldn't tell her no now, not when she looked like she needed to say it so badly.

It was insanity to tell everything to someone she had met maybe twenty minutes beforehand, but everything she had been doing the last few months was insanity, so what there wasn't any difference. "I was dating this guy and we were good the first couple of months, until we..." she pulled her knees up to her chest, looking away from him. "Got physical. He cheated on me, we fell apart, we broke up. Before we got together he was really....I guess you could call him a ladies man, he likes his girls.
"And now..." she shook her head. "He spent the night at the club last night." Dru was silent for a minute, then looked up at Silver. "Is it wrong to want to be with him? I mean...I want to be with him, but he still wants to be with all the other girls, and we work when he's able to be with the other girls." She was at a loss and she looked away again, not wanting to see Silver's eyes anymore, and set her chin on her arms, looking through the translucent wall of the greenhouse.

"Oh." It was the most intelligent response Silver could come up with after that. His supposedly mild crush was suffering for knowing that Dru had obvious feelings for a guy who didn't sound like he wanted anything out of her besides sex. He wanted to just retreat into himself, into his writing, but she'd asked him a question, and even if it was rhetorical, he felt like he ought to give her some kind of response.
"I don't know," he began. "I mean, you can't help what you want, right? Just what you do about it?" The story of his life; wanting, but never really having the guts to do anything about it.
