Dru laughed, "I don't think we have anything to worry about." She straightened out her shirt and came back to him, "Besides, it would just add to the rumors, right?" she asked with a tired grin.

"Right," Chase agreed with a smile. He pulled Dru against him for a kiss. Even if he was completely worn out, he still had enough energy for this. Unfortunately, another yawn rose up, and Chase had to break the kiss he'd initiated, turning slightly away from Dru to smother it. He glanced at the clock. It was nearing dawn. Chase glared at the clock as though it were somehow responsible for cutting his fun short.

Dru was seriously thinking about just sleeping the whole next day. She kissed him again, unable to resist, before pulling away from him and heading to the door. "Goodnight," she said, looking back at him, "Don't let the bedbugs bite." The old saying came naturally to her and brought a smile.

Chase's lips curved into a smirk. He watched Dru leave, then went back to the plate he'd abandoned so long ago, grabbing a sandwich to take with him. In no time, he was gone, and the house-elves were scurrying to clean up.
