Study Time (SCAM)

[Seiji Taira]

Seiji shuddered slightly at that intimate contact, and his body heated more than he could recall it ever having done before. He paused in the kiss to attempt reining himself in, but it was so distracting.

"Is this okay?" he asked softly. "It's almost too much." Seiji didn't know that he could suffer the humiliation of what would happen if they did much more. His body was responding so quickly, and he was fighting so hard against the knowledge that he shouldn't be doing it!

"Yeah, it's okay," Mari said, shifting his lips toward Seiji's jaw when the other guy stopped the kiss. "Why wouldn't it be?" His hands spread against Seiji's back, just wanting to feel as much as he could. He couldn't imagine what might be wrong about all of this; most of the negativity about being gay had drifted away from his conscious thought, and he didn't even claim to be gay to anyone but Castiel, so what did it matter?

Seiji's response was a long, shaky exhalation. Why wouldn't it be? Seiji couldn't think of an answer, not with his body in an uproar at what Mari was doing to him. Mari acted like it was the most natural thing in the world to set thought aside for physical pleasure, and Seiji grabbed onto that with both hands. He didn't want feeling this good to be wrong, didn't want liking it and wanting more to be wrong, either. His arguments faded until, once again, he was faced with almost embarrassing himself. He made a halfhearted attempt to take some space.

"Mari, if it is okay... maybe we can stop for now?" Oh, how embarrassing! "I am... overwhelmed. I'm sorry!" He was flushed, heated, and throbbing. He needed air and time to keep any honor.

Mari didn't want to stop. He didn't want to pause. He didn't want to give up this moment. However, though a huge part of him wanted to press and push, he somehow managed to accept the space Seiji asked for. His eyes stayed closed as he rested his head somewhat roughly against the stone wall behind him. He reminded himself that he hadn't gone immediately for more than a kiss with neither Indigo nor Castiel, so surely he could wait for Seiji, however frustrating.

Seiji could feel Mari's disappointment, and felt like a failure. "Please forgive my weakness, Mari-San," Seiji asked. "I enjoyed our... contact... maybe too much." Had he hurt Mari's feelings? Should he have continued in an effort to please him? None of this was like anything he'd experienced before. He knew how much to force from himself to please his father in regards to some business partner's daughter, but had little experience with actual interest, especially interest which actually led somewhere. "How can I make amends?"

Mari shook his head rather than voice the ways Seiji could satisfy the ache deep inside. He removed his hands from Seiji and slid them into his pockets. It felt like an hour before he was able to speak, though it was really only a few seconds. "It's okay, I just like you." It wasn't the best of responses, but it was all he could think of.

Seiji's brows drew together. "I like you too," he said. He couldn't bring himself to voice thoughts on a taboo subject, but even if he'd had the courage, he wouldn't have had the words. "I have no experience with things like this," he managed at last. He looked down at his hands rather than at Mari, who seemed so distant for someone so close. "If I make a mistake, please tell me so that I don't make it again."

Mari forced himself to think, to take a minute just to think, before he spoke. "I don't have lots of experience, either," he said, only bothering to keep his voice low enough not to be heard past the faux wall. "It's just like...hard, 'cause I want to try to talk you into whatever, but I wanna try to be a good guy, you know?" He really, really just wanted to kiss Seiji again to see if he could convince the guy to go further.

What did Mari want to talk him into, in a school corridor? "I would be happy to kiss you again," he offered. If this was okay, and it was good, then why was not doing it being a good guy? Seiji liked Mari a great deal, but didn't understand the way he thought at all. Was this having fun? Was it more? Was it supposed to be more? Seiji had come to get away from everything, to learn another way of life, and Mari was his mentor, as odd as it might seem.

"Well, like, if you want to stop, then I shouldn't make you go on, right?" Mari asked. Maybe he should just kiss Seiji again. If Seiji was offering, then why shouldn't he accept? His eyes drifted across Seiji's face and settled on his lips. "I really do wanna kiss you again, though." It felt too good not to want to give in.

It made Seiji tingle to hear Mari say tose words, and his gave dropped without his consent to the subtle bow of Mari's lips. He wanted another kiss too, but how could he enjoy it knowing that he'd need to pull away again? "I don't want to stop," he tried, hoping that Mari would understand. "I needed to stop." He forced himself to look into Mari's eyes, hoping that somehow he'd understand without having to be told any more plainly.

Mari dragged his eyes up from Seiji's lips to meet his eyes. "Guess I'm just not used to it," he said. "I mean, it's not like I kiss lots of guys, and I still haven't gone all the way, but with the last couple we'd just kinda...go." Granted, a dorm room couch was a lot more comfortable and made things much easier than a wall.

Even ignoring the slang, Seiji was able to pick up a little of that, and it was enough to respond to. "You still have to stop some time," he said. Not going all the way would have to mean not having sex, and not having sex meant not... finishing. Maybe there was something wrong with him. Maybe Mari hadn't been as close to disgracing himself as Seiji had been.

"What's the fun in stopping? Then you just end up with blue balls," Mari said. Like now. He'd never even considered it might be something disgraceful. "Why do you think you've gotta stop?" His fuzzy mind thought absently of when they'd first met, where Seiji had seemed nervous about starting the kiss in the first place, but he felt like he was missing something.

Seiji's brows drew together. "We're in a corridor," he said, unsure whether he'd misunderstood the question. "And we're... dressed." And hadn't Mari said he'd never gone all the way? "I don't understand, Mari-San. It's go all the way or stop, isn't it? So I stopped." And what did blue balls mean? Seiji didn't have the least idea, and wasn't about to derail a tense conversation by asking.
