"So? That doesn't mean I can't miss you," Mari said. "I mean, you're super cute, and you saved me from like, this horrible feeling of badness at that ball, so of course I'm gonna miss you. Plus we sent letters and stuff....so I'm pretty sure I like you a lot." Since his hand was now free of Castiel's he offered it to Seiji.

Seiji kept his eyes away from the librarian's desk. She had been helping students the last time he'd seen her, and he didn't want to lose his courage. This school had two married male professors. Whatever he'd been taught, this was a different world. He placed his hand on Mari's and caught his breath doing so.

Mari grinned at the touch and wasted no time giving Seiji's cheek a brief peck. Practically without his permission, his thumb ran lightly against Seiji's skin when he pulled back. "Do you wanna see the castle? I mean, it's huge, and there's a ton of places you might never find." There were probably a ton more he'd never found, but he didn't really want to tell Seiji he might not know all there was to know about the castle.

"Yes, please," Seiji said. Whether Mari was actually offering a tour of the castle or not, this was why Seiji had come to Hogwarts. He'd wanted adventure and fun, wanted to see if he could really be okay with parts of himself he'd held back his entire life. "I've already checked out my books." They could go now, if Mari wanted.

Mari's eyes sparkled and, however reluctant he might have been otherwise, pulled his hand from Seiji's after a brief squeeze. "Then come on, I'll show you around. I even found this secret corridor with Castiel, and like literally no one uses it, it's so cool." It was great when you wanted to hide from the crowds of students going from class to class.

Like literally no one. Seiji still had to work to wrap his mind around the odd expression, but he got the gist; they'd be alone, and maybe he could relax. He slipped his borrowed books into his bag, then stood to follow Mari, nervous and eager all at once.

It only took a couple of minutes for them to be out of the library; once you knew the layout it didn't take long to navigate the labyrinth. "How much of the school have you got to see?" he asked, steering Seiji toward the hidden corridor he'd mentioned. Sure, there was the Room of Requirement, but since it was so early in the school year he'd bet his left foot it was taken by older students reuniting with significant others.

"I've only seen what you and Castiel showed me," Seiji said, "and the classrooms." No more than he needed for his first week of school, and judging by the size of the castle, that was next to nothing. "They've transferred me to 6th Year Herbology, so two of the greenhouses."

"Well, you've got lots of castle to see," Mari said. Once they were into an empty corridor, he reached for Seiji's hand again. "There's all kinds of stuff, like staircases that move and steps that disappear. Or walls that pretend to be doors." The place he was headed for was a corridor that started with a wall and ended with a tapestry. Well, or it started with a tapestry and ended with a wall, depending on your direction.

Seiji thrilled at the contact of their hands, and a casual glance said that they were alone. He steeled himself, then turned to give Mari a kiss, little more than the peck he'd gotten in the library. It was hard to believe that the two of them had shared a bottle of wine and an intense kiss, totally unlike the one he'd just stolen. He was more than ready to try again, if Mari was.

Mari grinned, and was very glad that the wall painting pretending to be a wall was close. He ducked in, dragging Seiji in behind him. He settled back against the wall of the forgotten corridor. "There isn't any fountain, but I'm pretty sure I'd still really like it if you kissed me," he said, grinning beneath his wild brown hair.

Seiji was pretty sure he'd really like to kiss Mari, so he did, and though there was no alcohol pulsing through his veins, adrenaline more than made up for it. Those months when all they'd been able to do was send letters and little tokens had made Seiji think about whether he really could think about this. He'd never allowed it before, but oh, the softness of Mari's mouth against his was worth whatever happened.

Mari slid his arms around Seiji's waist to pull him close. He loved kissing, it just felt right, like something he was meant to do. Maybe he was just built to have physical relationships. There were people who only liked the romance side, right? So why couldn't he just like kissing and stuff? Although there was a brief thought about Castiel, Mari was quickly enveloped by the simple fact that he was kissing Seiji.

Seiji was absorbed in the kiss as well, in wanting more and being unsure what to do about it, in the overwhelming physicality of it all. He'd held back so much for so long that letting go was like tearing down a tall dam. Everything rushed forward and even without parting his lips more than a bit, he was breathless.

Mari wanted their hips to touch, so he pulled Seiji as tight as he dared. He remembered how it had felt with Indigo, and he wanted that contact again. No thought was spared for the fact that Seiji might have been much more inexperienced; Mari just wanted to taste and feel. His teeth caught briefly, playfully, at Seiji's lip, and in his mind's eye he saw again the beautiful mouth Seiji sported.
