Silver nodded and gave Ayla's hand a light squeeze. He understood, no matter how much part of him wanted to just do it because it was right. Something in his mind was trying to find words for the difference between right and good, but his thoughts were too jumbled to put them together. "I'll still be going to university, but I'll visit a lot," he said. He wished he had another year at Hogwarts to figure all this out.

"Well, whatever you decide, we're here and I'm sure we'll help out however we can," Michael said. Silver had helped with the twins in the past and especially with Ayla remaining a student it was likely some help would be needed by the couple. People made mistakes, not that Michael was anything less than extremely tired of surprises today.

Michael's matter-of-fact goodwill, no matter how thinly it covered their own stress, helped Dare get himself together a little. He pulled a deep breath. "Okay," he said, stringing thoughts together again. "You guys go... try to relax or something. Do whatever Abi tells you, she's awesome. Come over for dinner tomorrow. We can brainstorm or just... try to feel normal. You can meet Isolde properly." And we can have tonight to ourselves. His gaze flicked to Michael for assent.

Michael nodded and just withheld a heavy sigh. Tomorrow would be another huge day, with the fair still going on and both Dare and Silver in another joust apiece, at least. "And we can meet Ayla properly," he said. Well, at least they could get to know her as something other than the girl who carries a skateboard with her half the time.

"Yeah, welcome to the family," Dare said, looking at the girl. He didn't know if he'd believe all this had really happened in the morning. In fact, he didn't know that he believed it now, and it was still happening. God no. Maybe that was it for the day.

Abigail had been concerned when she didn't find the young couple in their own area, but was relieved to see they were still in the hospital wing. "I have some, ah, papers for the two of you," she said delicately. She didn't know what the two had decided, or whether they intended to say anything, and so she kept the news to herself.

"We told them," Silver said. "Just them." He looked aside at Ayla. He didn't know if there was anyone she wanted to tell, but at the moment, his brother and Michael were it. "I guess we'll see you tomorrow," he said. He was ready to go disappear somewhere and just stare into space until an epiphany hit.

There wasn't anyone Ayla had any particular interest in telling, especially since she was positive she would get a less than nice response from her aunt and uncle when they found out. "Yeah, sorry we crashed your baby checkup," she said with half an attempt at a smile. She wasn't very successful. The next few months were going to be ridiculously weird.
