Castiel wasn't big, didn't have a wide jaw or a nose that had been broken more than once by a Quaffle, but he did have a love of adrenaline and activities that made him feel alive. That was the flip side to his little fascination with mortality.
He pulled close to Ayla, meeting the dare in her eyes with a challenge of his own. "Good thing you're brave, Miss Gryffindor," he returned. One thing about his kisses was that he wasn't afraid to nip a little. He liked to leave his mark with swollen, glistening lips. Like hers would be when he was finished.

Ayla grinned. This was turning out to be a much more interesting night than she had thought it would be. Happy New Year. Maybe he didn't really hit home for her, but a kiss was a kiss and tonight she didn't feel like turning one down. If it was a little rougher, that was all the better for her. She liked the rush.

If they were in agreement on one thing, it was this stolen kiss in an abandoned corridor. Sparks, excitement, everything the opposite of the cold stone walls was focused between the two of them. This was where Castiel's masculinity showed through, though of course he had better things to think about. Bruising kisses, for one, and just how slender her waist was through her oversized shirt.

Ayla's board clattered to the ground as she slid arms around Castiel, putting hands in his hair and along his neck, encouraging the rough feel of the kiss. Mr. Ravenclaw could be a guy when he wanted to be, which was a pleasant surprise. A hand dropped after a time to roughly grip his side and pull him closer.

This was more than Castiel had expected, and he thrilled at Ayla's response. Yes, rough, excitement as his hands tightened against her and he pressed her back against the castle wall. Already he tested his boundaries, pushed to see how much she could take with tongue and teeth and hands that loved this even more than the delicacy of the quill.

"Ah, ah, Mr. Ravenclaw, haven't earned that yet," Ayla managed against Castiel's rough lips when she repositioned one of his wandering hands. She was having fun, yes, but she did remember that they were in a corridor where anyone could find them if they only looked hard enough. A grin spread over her slick lips before she returned her attention to the kiss.

Castiel's brows drew together slightly, but he accepted the correction all the same. Her lips were everything her tease had promised, and he drank them in. His hand rose to sweep back her hair, to play against the slope of her neck and, ultimately, to make room for his questing lips.

Ayla sighed in response to those questing lips and returned with some questing of her own. However, she was still aware of where they were and how late it was and eventually worked the kiss down. When it finally broke she leaned back against the wall, her hands resting at Castiel's sides. "You've got potential," she said, her teasing words at odds with the rush of blood in her veins.

Potential. Castiel's lips curved in amusement. "Enough to try again some time?" he asked coolly. "Unless you've got better things to do." He remembered her skateboard then, on the floor somewhere at their feet, remembered her rough language and the tattoo at her collarbone that his lips had sought to explore. She wasn't his type in the least, wasn't the dark, feminine thing he liked so much, but that tease and everything which had come after it had been exactly what he'd wanted.

"We'll just have to see, Castiel," Ayla said. "Shouldn't you be getting back to your studying or something?" At least she'd used his name that time instead of Mr. Ravenclaw. She tugged gently on his hips again before dropping her hands. She wondered how long they had spent here in this dark corridor up against a wall.

"I've been studying," Castiel said. His gaze dropped pointedly to her lips, then slipped briefly down to that tattoo again before he let her go. "But if it suits your view of me, I'll go to my Common Room like an obedient little Ravenclaw. I wouldn't want to oversleep and miss my classes." That smile quirked again, and he turned to leave, straightening his jacket as though it were nothing.

Ayla grinned and picked up her board. "You do that, and you have fun, you good little boy," she teased. Castiel could tease all he wanted, Ayla could hold her own. "Maybe I'll see you around." She picked up her board and turned from him. She knew more than one way to get back to her tower and didn't need to backtrack.
