"I dunno, I guess, there's not much other modeling to do, is there? No high fashion s~ though, I'm not wearing a dress made of rubbers," Ayla said, making a face. She had magazines squirreled away and so many of the so called fashions were ridiculous to look at. "But gettin' in with a skate company, that'd be fun. Alt clothes, you know."

Castiel had smothered a laugh at dress made of rubbers, but now he nodded as though he wasn't slightly scandalized. Haute couture was pretty ridiculous, though sometimes he saw something he liked. It was usually ruined by stupid wigs or hats, though.
"Don't sport companies use like, sports celebrities?" he asked. He didn't think he'd ever seen an ad for any kind of sport clothing that wasn't on some professional in the middle of whatever it was they did.

"Well, aye, for the big adverts, anyway," Ayla said. "But everyone needs people for smaller stuff." She'd never seen a big celebrity's face on the tag for a shirt or a shoebox. The big billboards and magazine adverts were the ones that had the big names in them. She glanced down the hallway. "You wanna walk? Stay in one spot and you're more likely to get someone finding you on their rounds."

Castiel's gaze followed Ayla's. Nothing looked particularly interesting, but then, he'd been standing at the foot of the stairs for way too long to consider this looking around. He shrugged. "Sure." If she'd been at Hogwarts for however many years, he may as well pick up some tips. "As long as you're not stealing me away to do wicked things."

Ayla eyed him for a moment, then she grinned and turned to walk without responding. She didn't have much personal experience in wicked things but she had thoughts and dreams and fantasies. Castiel wasn't really her type, either, but it was always fun to imagine. "Anyone tell you about the Room of Requirement?" she asked a few steps later.

Castiel liked that grin; it was more than enough response for him. His lips curved slightly, and his eyes glittered as he caught up with her. He walked with his hands clasped behind his back and his chin tipped up slightly, as though he was difficult to impress. "What is the Room of Requirement?" he asked back.

Ayla tucked her board comfortably under one arm. "A room in the castle that'll be whatever you tell it to be," she said. "I've make it a skate park before. I heard someone made it outside, I dunno how that works, but whatever. Most people just use it for f~ing, half the time it's not open." She glanced over at Castiel and raised an eyebrow at him, then a half smile pulled at her lips and she looked ahead again.

Castiel tried to pretend that the widening of his eyes and the slight arch of his brows was perfectly normal, even through that knowing smile she'd given him. He inhaled slowly rather than gasp or snicker, but he was more than a little surprised. A room that would be whatever you told it to be. And most people used it for... doing it.
When he had himself under control, he gave as casual a smile as he could, as though he was just being polite. "That's interesting," he said. "That seems like a lot of work when there are broom cupboards and empty classrooms everywhere." He held his breath on a reaction.

"Good second choices, but when compared to a room that can be anything?" Ayla laughed lightly. "Come on, who would choose a desk over a king sized bed with down pillows?" Well, maybe a few people, but that was beside the point. She looked over at him again. "The room's the worst kept secret of Hogwarts, it's like the perfect room.

"Sounds like it," Castiel agreed. He liked her laugh. It was a sound he hadn't heard nearly enough of since he and Marius had parted. "A little transfiguration would fix a desk, not that I've thought of it, but I suppose a whole room would make for a better experience. Atmosphere, mood, and everything."

"You think? I mean you could probably go with a France theme if you wanted," Ayla said, raising her eyebrows at him. She knew she used the room to be things she couldn't get her hands on at Hogwarts and she was certain other people used it for the same purpose, and she didn't see any reason not to put ideas in his head.

"Romance isn't everything," Castiel said, "but if you like it, the French are the ones to ask." They were world-renowned for their romance, even more than the spicier Spanish. "A dark little twist can be fun, too." He was a dark little twist himself, wasn't he? The thought amused him, and his lips curved as he looked aside at Ayla.

"I don't have time for romance," Ayla claimed. "I've got too much to do to worry about getting some guy to put a ring on my finger. I'd rather a dark little twist." She grinned and swerved a bit, nudging him lightly. This was just showing her that she really did need to talk to people more often, when was the last time she had talked to someone new?

Castiel's smile widened, and his eyes glinted. He took a breath, then turned, stopping them both with an arm against the wall at her side. He wouldn't pin her entirely, not with a heavy wooden board under her arm, but he was perfectly willing to see how far she'd take her teases. "How dark do you like it?" he asked.

Ayla turned to look up at him. "Don't think you can get dark enough, Mr. Ravenclaw," she said softly, a dare in her eyes. He needed a tattoo or a piercing, he needed to be more masculine to really hit home with her. The last guy she'd kissed had been a beater on a quidditch team. She didn't get that dangerous feel from Castiel.
