Tori sighed frustrated desperately wanting to know what had happened to her parents she didn't have anything to say after what Jory said. She got up and walked over towards the window and sat at it's booth underneath and sat on it.
"Thanks for trying to help but the only way we can really find out is if your mum or dad tells us or we look it up some where but if they are muggles then they might not be in any of our history books."

"Richard isn't a muggle, if it's the same guy, my parents are both pureblood," Jory said. "And Richard wasn't a squib. I can owl them, my mum might know something, or know where to look or whatever." He didn't want either of them to get their hopes up, but it was possible.

Tori softly smiled and replied, "Okay, that's fine let's just ask whoever we can possible and we'll see what happens after that. Oh and you might not want to mention me just in case just say you are doing a family tree project for History of Magic or something like that."
Tori didn't want to cause inconvenience to the family if there was feuding going on with her parents she didn't want to be the cause of it.

"No, don't worry about it," Jory said, shaking his head. "I'll send the owl to mum, she'll know if it's okay to tell dad or not." If it would end up in something bad happening, she wouldn't tell him, but if she thought it was important enough for him to know, she wouldn't let him go without knowing. It was probably safest to just tell his mum the whole story.

Tori only nodded and figured that it might be best to just sit and wait in the common room of the Slytherin house for the letter she had a lot to think about. She actually wanted to find a quiet room but with the thought of Jory being apart of her family she almost felt like she didn't want to leave him.
"Hey Jory?" Tori started asking, "What will happen if I am part of your family, would you want that to happen? Do you think your family would take me in? The only reason I would go back to the orphanage would be to get my stuff but even if the people are nice there I really don't want to go back. I've actually had some really bad times there and the memories are too horrible and I'll be scared if I do have to go back." Tori was talking as if she had a major trauma happened to her there and something that bad did happen to her there.
However, she didn't like to talk about it to anyone let alone someone that could possible be her family. She was scared she would have to face it again and she didn't know if her body could handle it. Physically and emotionally.

Jory shook his head, "I don't think they would make you go back. My dad's fighting with Richard, not you." She was uninvolved, she didn't have anything to do with the feud. He finally pulled himself up to go back to his chair and huddle into the cushions, tucking his legs beneath him as he looked over at her. "My parents are nice, I mean, they didn't even say anything bad about it when I came out." He marked up her being afraid to go back to the simple fact it was an orphanage, and he certainly wouldn't want to go to one of those if there was another choice.

Tori looked up at him hopefully and replied, "I suppose. I don't know I guess I'm just scared of the outcome I suppose. I don't know why, I just am."

"Well, yeah," Jory said, shrugging. "I'd be scared half to death." He couldn't even begin to imagine what Tori was going through. "But, hey, you have me. And I'm awesome." He grinned over at her. "I'll have to take you out sometime to celebrate when I get an owl back." Especially if everything turned out right.

Tori laughed at him and replied, "That sounds great! Let's just hope we do have something to celebrate though. Anyways, I'm going to go I think it's almost curfew so we should probably head back to our dormitories. Let me know what your mom says okay. Thanks again for helping me out and all."

"Yeah, you're welcome," Jory said, nodding. "I'm going to chill out here for a little while longer, I'll see you later." He wasn't ready to head back to his dorm, and he couldn't really get in too much trouble being out after curfew, especially seeing as he was the one who got people in trouble for being out past it.

Tori smiled softly at him and waved bye and headed back to her common room in hopes of getting to sleep tonight.
