It was too cold to be outside, and so even the Astronomy tower, where he normally hung out, was way too cold to stay in for longer than a few minutes. So now, while he had a little bit of free time while Verity watched Lyric, he was enjoying some time in the room of requirement. He had a random playlist playing from the big wireless in the room, and the room itself was full of plush, comfy chairs. He was lounging in one and softly singing along with the song. "You've just gotta ignite...the light..."

Victoria walked by the room of requirement when suddenly she felt the urge to go in there as she stood outside she heard soft music playing and smiled and quietly walked in. As she did she heard soft singing and her smile just widened and sat across from Jory her new friend. His eyes was close as he was singing she let him softly sing.
"Hey." She said loud enough so he could hear over the soft music.

Jory hadn't expected anyone else to come in, and he barely noticed, might have even ignored it if she hadn't spoken. He opened his eyes and pulled himself up into a straighter, seated position. "Hi," he said, smiling. "I hope you weren't hoping for an empty room or something." He didn't have any intentions of leaving if she was.

Tori smiled up at him and shook her head no, "No, I was just in need in some company actually." She looks around the place and a grin replaces her smile as she leans back onto the comfy couch. She sighs heavily and lets the soft music clam her nerves down.

((Having tense issues? lol, you switched from past to present))
"Well, you found some," Jory said, tucking his legs beneath him. "My name's Jory." He had long since stopped being truly worried about his appearance and what people thought of the piercings and the jewelry he was sporting. He didn't mind having someone else come in, even if he did like his alone time.

((grr, i ALWAYS, have trouble with that!))
Victoria smiled up at him and replied, "Victoria, but you can call me Tori." Victoria didn't even notice the piercings until she finally caught a glimpse at them. Even though she didn't like them herself on most people it suited them and the piercings definitely suited Jory.
"So what brings you to the Room of Requirement?" She asks boldly as she takes a look around at the place.

((lol, just reread over before you post and make sure you don't go into "asks" and "takes", just replace them with "asked" and "took" or whatever.))
"Had some free time," Jory said, shrugging. "I don't get much of it lately." He had nothing against hanging out with Lyric, but even though it was Lyric it was nice to have time alone every once in a while. Maybe he had just gotten too used to being alone, but there couldn't be anything wrong with that.

((I'll try to remember that lol.))
"Ah, I'm sorry you don't have much free time anymore." Victoria had the same problem but not so much dealing with a person, it was mainly just not finding a place to be alone.
"You know, I'm a very good listener and if you need someone to talk to about anything that your going through I don't mind listening. Maybe I could give you some advice." Victoria truly is a good listener she loves to help anyone who is having trouble or problems.
Even if she had her own problems she was going through she still felt that everyone else was more important than herself. She liked to the think of that way because it has been that way her whole life. She looked around the room again and then settled her gaze upon him and looked into his eyes knowing instantly that he did have troubles but wasn't sure of who to talk to.

((Sorry it took so long! I've been out of it lately))
"Oh, no, I'm fine," Jory said, shaking his head. "I'm just a Prefect, I have a...special assignment, I guess you could say, along with another one, we have to watch this guy I'm friends with. So it means not a lot of time away from him." Which he was just fine with, most of the time. Just every now and then it was good to get away from him again.

((It's fine no worries))
"Ah." Tori gets up and walked around the area and right before her eyes a window appeared in front of her. She smiled to herself and sat down at the seat that was underneath the window.
She looked back over at Jory and smiled up at him, but then frowned for a quick second and then she shook her head.
As she looked back out the window she sighed heavily and leaned against the back wall and started crying silently not wanting him to know that she was crying she remained silent and hurried to quickly wipe away her tears. She's always wondered her family was as she doesn't know who they are. Pretty much all she wants is for someone to love her and it doesn't matter the love that she receives in any form or way.

Jory glanced over at the girl, not quite sure what to do with her going silent and walking away from him. It was more than a little awkward, especially when he caught the last bit of what had to be her wiping her eyes. "Um...Tori?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her. "Are you okay?" Was she crying? If she was, what was he supposed to do?

Tori looked up at him knowing full well that he knows that she was crying but said, "Yea, I'm fine um I think I've bothered you enough so I should probably get going have lots of homework and what not to work on you know."
She hurried and grabbed her things wanting to get out of there to save the embarrassment of her crying.

"No, you haven't bothered me at all," Jory said, shaking his head and shifting up to bring his knees beneath him on the loveseat. "I know you, like, just met me and it's probably, like, really creepy for me to say this, but you can tell me. I'm not too good at fixing problems but I'll listen, at least." And listening was sometimes all people needed. He knew it could help a lot.

She stops by the door and then turns around to look at him and sighs heavily and decides that it might be best to talk with him about it. At least it is someone she could talk to as she hasn't been able to talk to anyone about it yet.
"Well it's just, I'm a wizard orphan and I don't know who my family is. I'd really like to know. I don't even know if Riddle is my real last name I think the orphanage gave it to me just because I had to have a last name or something. And all I want is for someone to care about me or to love me in any way shape or form. Whether it'd be friendship, brother/sister love, etc. I just can't seem to find out any information about my family and it's driving me nuts!" She bursts out all of sudden and sighs heavily and puts her head in her hands.
"Thanks for listening but there's really not much you could do to really help me."
She moves her back, back against the couch and sighs heavily closing her eyes for a few seconds to relax and calm down.

"Oh, wow, um..." What on earth was Jory supposed to say to that? "Do you have anything to go by?" he asked. He didn't have any idea how to go about figuring something like that out. There wasn't really anything anyone could do unless there was a clue of some kind. If she wasn't even sure what her last name was, what could be done?
