"Maybe," Leo answered, glancing over and giving her another nudge. "If you're the one doing it. Of course, if it meant more time with you I would probably agree to just about anything." So maybe not, but he was going for flattery right now and maybe it would lead to something. He was quite enjoying showing her the way to more traveled corridors.

Brindle grinned, and she likely blushed as well, though she refused to think of the heat in her cheeks. She couldn't think of a thing to say to that. He was flirting with her, wasn't he? She didn't know how to flirt! It was all she could do not to giggle like a complete idiot the way she had for Ryan. Don't think about him! she told herself. She almost wished she hadn't let him kiss her, since he'd gone back to his old girlfriend right after that. She decided that she just wouldn't let a boy kiss her the first time they met. No matter how perfectly bow-shaped his mouth might be.

"Well, we're about out, and from the end of the tunnel it's easy to get back to the main halls," Leo said, looking ahead. So he had walked slower than normal and the walk had lasted longer than normal, but that was okay. "I would love to meet up with you again sometime." He would try to push a little next time, for now he was just fine.

Brindle pushed lightly at her hair as she looked aside at Leo, still smiling despite her best efforts to appear nonchalant. "Okay," she said, wishing she could think of something incredibly clever to say. "So, like, I'll see you, then." That was not what she'd been hoping for. All she could do was manage a little wave after that as she slipped away.
