The dungeons? Lily felt really nervous all of a sudden. Lily knew what was in the dungeons. Slytherins. Professor Snape. Nasty, smirking people. Usually. Lily was still waiting to be stared wrong...
"O-Okay?" Lily said hesitantly. Oddly Ani was smiling. A smile that said 'i want to be your friend'. How could a smile let you down? Lily sucked up her pride and nervousness.
"Okay." Lily said more confidently. Though secretly she wasn't so confident.

Ani sensed that Lily was nervous. Dugeons would make anyone nervous. Well anyone but Ani. Ani winced at the contact but put her arm around Lily's shoulders.
"Don't worry." Ani smiled. She knew Lily was warming up to her. "No one will bother you in the Dugeons. I'm with you."
She led Lily down stairs after endless stairs until the temperture got cooler and the walls got dank.

OOC: dank? xD haha just giving you a hard time  IC: As Lily and Ani plunged into dungeon darkness the atmosphere went from hopeful and bright to damp and depressing. Lily got the evil stares from a few Slytherins who weren't in class. Was Ani going to yell at them like she did the others? Lily re-focused and considered Ani's embrace; she certainly didn't look comfortable putting her arm around Lily but Lily didn't want to worm away. Maybe they were making a break through after all... She sighed heavily, now all she had to do was wait for what was in store for her...

IC: Ani felt the stares of a couple Slytherins. They didin't phase her much but she could feel Lily tighten up. Of course a Gryffindor would be most hated in this cess pit of fools. Silly Gryffindor.
"Walk with pride." Ani whispered in Lily's ear. "They'll more then likely leave you mostly alone."
A Slytherin, a fifth year Ani recognized as Zilnafa stared as they walked past. Ani glared at her meeting her eyes until they could no longer make eye contact. Ani knew Zilnafa was harmless but she figured Lily could use the extra encouragement.

"Oh look, it's one of Harry Potter's minions." A slytherin sneered at Lily hatefully. His buddy cackled beside him. "Should we call thee 'your great highness?'"
Lily tried to ignore the ignorant boys as Ani lead her deeper and deeper into the dungeon. They passed a girl who was heading to class. Ani kept her eye on the girl with an interesting look on her face but Lily was confused. The girl didn't look that blood thirsty and out to get people so why did Ani look so tense?
Lily hoped they got to the place they needed to be and fast. This place gave her the creeps and was the reason for most of her nightmares. But Lily had to be strong. Because Ani was so strong. And she didn't want to let Ani down...

Ani could do sense that Lily wanted to ignore the boys who called her Harry Potter's minion but she wouldn't let any one beat up on her or anyone who was helping her.
She whirled around and stalked back to the boys. They were only fourth years but they had the attitude of a pure Slytherin. Ani marched up to them, eyes narrowed, face a mask of fury. These boys barely came up to her shoulder.
She towered over them and growled, "You stupid Slytherins. You don't run this school, you can barely run your own damn lives with out your precious house elves. You leave us alone." Ani stepped closer and glared. "Or you will be hearing from my friends. And you will regret it."
Ani returned to Lily. Chris would be just around the corner in a couple minutes and he mustn' see her. He never liked to be protected. He always wanted to be independant. He always complained he didn't want his older sister looking out for her.
"Alright Lily," Ani's voice lowered unconsiously. She didn't want Chris to hear her. "There's going to be a third year boy around the corner when class gets out. He's taller with straw blonde hair and blue eyes. He's a Hufflepuff. Ask him if he gets bullied. But be sutble. He can't know that you want to know."

Lily was surprised that Ani had stuck up for her, though she thought it was quite amusing that a few boys who met Ani's forearm could talk as foully and bitterly as they did. Lily secretly hoped that Ani would beat the living crud out of them, but unfortunately she didn't; they were only immature fourth years after all.
Ani did say that Lily would meet her brother in under an amount of minutes. She asked her to ask if he got bullied but to be subtle about it. Subtle. If only she knew how to do that...(OOC: tell me if i can be subtle. i had to look it up xD)
IC: Just then, the boy Ani said would round the corner did. He looked exactly like Ani, only male and younger. He had a skittish look to his face.
"Are you alright?" Lily said, startling the kid. "You look like someone's about to clobber you to pudding."

OOC: you did it again hun. Ani never said out loud that Chris was her brother. Lily doesn't know that. All she knows is that Ani wants her to ask the kid if he was being bullied.
IC: Ani waited breathlessly to hear what Chris would say. She didn't think Lily could pull off subtle but it was worth a shot. Besides she just had to know if Chris was alright.
Ani could hear Chris mumble. But she couldn't make out the words.
Chris glared at the fifth year. Her next class wasn't around here and she had no right to be talking to her. Of course he looked like someone would clobber him. He didn't like being down here with the Slytherins. They had a nasty habit of trying to make him cry. He never did but he wished they would stop teasing his sister so much. "I'm fine."

IC: The kid's eyes were shifty, as if trying to look for something. Or someone. Lily tried to look at Ani for advice but Ani just looked off into the distance. Lily was on her own now.
"Are you sure?" Lily didn't want to be too too pushy. But if she wanted the kid to spill the beans she would need to be. "You look...nervous."

Ani pulled back into a cove when Chris was looking in her direction. She mustn't be seen. That was the most important part. She knew Lily could do this. When you were as pretty at Lily, you could usually persuade a hormonal teenage boy to do something or say something and Ani was really counting on that.
"Of course I'm nervous." Chris growled angry that he was being held up. "There are Slytherins crawling all over this place." Chris paused a second. Something was wrong. Why would a fifth year Gryffindor be interested in him? "Who told you come ask me this? Was it Ani?"
Ani flinched when he said her name but she hoped Lily could pull off a suave attitude and set him off track.

"Of course there are Slytherins crawling everywhere. This is the dungeons silly little hufflepuff. And no, this 'Ani' you talk of didn't ask me to talk to you. I'm just fairly observant. And don't worry about these Slytherins. They aren't bound to hurt you. Or at least that's what i've heard." Lily shifted eyes, trying to be as casual as she could be. "What class were you just in anyway? Was it potions? Did Professor Snape growl 'turn to page 492?' He always does that." She beamed and grinned a shiny white grin. She didn't have a plan but to distract him for starters, then she guessed they'd go from there.

OOC: I'm sorry but I want Lily to know that Chris and Ani are siblings so your sauve act is going to fail. ^.^ I'm sorry. You're allowed to verbally abuse me. It's my way of giving Ani and Lily something to talk about. Little brothers.
IC: Ani nearly smacked her forehead. Lily couldn't lie. Ugh. She couldn't even subtly change the topic. Chris was going to figure it out. She knew he was going to.
Chris rolled his eyes. He was suspcious by nature and this...well she certainly wasn't ugly fifth year wasn't here byt exact choice. He narrowed his eyes and scowled. "Alright where is she? C'mon you don't even have to stay around for the sibling fight. I just wanna know where Ani is."

Lily tried to look surprised but she knew she was caught already. She had fun while it lasted though.
"You really want to know where Ani is? Back there i think." She rotated around and saw Ani's face. "I'm sorry. I tried!"

Ani sighed and shook her head. Chris looked like he would gladly rip her hair out and make her eat it until she suffocated. But she smiled at Lily getting ready to excuse her before the Sibling warfare started.
"It's okay Lily." She apporached the two students. "I just didn't know you couldn't lie. You might want to leave. You can stay of course if you want but there's going to be a fight."
"Damn right there's going to be a fight." Chris snarled.
Ani whirled around. "You watch your mouth."
"You are not my mother!"
"You don't even know Mom. She left when you were just a baby. I RAISED you!"
"Then don't you think it's time you cut the ambilical cord?"
Ani threw hands up with frusteration. "Look Chris, if you're being picked on it has to stop."
"It'll stop when you stop baby-ing me." Chris turned and stalked away ignoring Ani's calls.
Ani felt like she was going to cry. She hated to fight with him.

Lily paused, unsure of what to do. Ani's brother just stomped off in temper tantrum and now Ani herself looked like she could break out into tears. Cautiously Lily raised her hand slightly and patted Ani on the shoulder.
"There there." She said, feeling majorly awkward. "Is he always like that?"
