"You wouldn't be able to." Jamie said grinning. "I'm not ticklish." He wanted to Jory to keep smiling. He was a lot more relaxed when he was smiling, he didn't seem to play with his rings as much. "Are you ticklish?" Jamie asked tauntingly. He could always find out for himself. Before Jory had a chance to answer, Jamie leapt off the desk, tackled Jory, and began tickling him.

Jory had shook his head and was halfway through claiming he wasn't when Jamie came after him. "Hey!" he said, his elbows immediately tucking against his sensitive sides in an attempt to protect them from Jamie's hands. It wasn't much protection when his skin could be so sensitive at times. "No fair!" Still, he laughed and attempted to bring his knees up for further protection.

Jamie had made it to the couch in one quick movement. He poked at Jory's sides and tickled him some more. His stomach started to hurt from laughing so hard. Jamie kept poking at his sides and trying to push Jory's elbows away from what Jamie assumed to be his most ticklish spot. Jamie hadn't realized it when he pushed Jory down so he was laying flat on his back. Nor did he realize that he was directly on top of Jory, still tickling him.

Jory was more concerned with keeping Jamie's hands away from the thin skin at his ribs. He tried to tuck himself over, trying to turn on his side beneath Jamie and keep his knees up. Of course, he failed, and found himself pressed to the couch, barely breathing right from laughing so hard. "No fair!" he repeated, giving up on keeping his elbows tucked in and instead reaching for Jamie's hands to attempt to stop him.

Jamie was able to get a hold of Jory's arms. He pinned them down at the wrists above Jory's head. His laughter turned into a soft chuckle. "Gotcha!" He announced triumphantly. It wasn't until Jame's chuckle turned into a few deeps breaths as he tried to catch his breaths that he realized that he was on top of Jory. As soon as the realization hit, Jamie released his arms and pushed himself off the sofa almost as quickly as he had gotten on it earlier. "I'm..er..sorry." He mumbled running his hands through his hair.

Jory had quickly found himself searching Jamie's face once he had been caught as he tried to get his breathing back under control, his eyes sparkling from the attack. And just when he was used to it and the thought of kissing Jamie crossed his mind, Jamie pulled away. Why was Jamie pulling away? He pushed himself up on his elbows and looked at him. "You don't have to say sorry," he said. "It's okay." He certainly didn't mind ending up with Jamie over top of him.

Jamie's thoughts were still whirling from the moment they shared before. He could've easily let himself go, lost control and bent down and kissed Jory until he was dizzy in the head. Even as he took another step away, he found it hard not to return to his position and carry out that very option. It didn't make it any easier for him that Jory was so accepting. "Oh Jesus..." Jamie cursed under his breath. He had to find away to push these thoughts from his mind before they became more than thoughts.

"What is it?" Jory asked, his expression turning worried. He moved, pulling himself up to sit as he watched Jamie. He felt a sense of foreboding, as though something was going to happen, and it wasn't going to be good. One hand came up and ran through his hair, leaving parts of it sticking up in odd directions. "You're not going to run off again, are you?" Please don't.

Jamie did have an urge to turn and walk out of the room before his desire controlled his emotions. When he glanced at Jory, however, the look on his face changed his mind. Jamie shook his head, "No, I'm not going to leave." He assured Jory. Jamie stuffed his hands into his jean pockets. "So, where are you from?" He asked changing the subject abruptly as a distraction. He needed to change his thought process before he ended up doing something he promised himself he wouldn't do again.

Jory dropped his eyes and moved to lean against an arm of the couch, bringing his knees up to his chest. "Nowhere, really, just out in the middle of nothing in England." It was going to be really hard if every time Jamie loosened up or touched him he freaked out. Jory slipped his arms around his legs and rested his chin on his knees, looking down at his shoes. "What about you?" he continued, almost as an afterthought, and at least partially to stop Jamie from asking any questions about why he was acting the way he was.

"My family's from Northampton. It's a pretty bug town." Jamie said. It was a beautiful town. Jamie and his siblings certainly have gotten in their share of trouble around there. They lived in a castle that had been passed down through many generations in his family. It was beautiful and surrounded by open fields, which were perfect for playing War and Explorers.
Jamie noticed the way Jory was sitting. He had basically curled himself into a ball. "Jory, what's wrong?" He asked with sudden concern. "Did I do something wrong?"

Jory shook his head, at first refusing to answer. He wanted to go back to laughing and making Jamie smile. "You don't want to touch me," he said, beginning to wonder if it really was something specific to Lyric. If Jamie was the same way, then maybe it was something wrong with him. "I mean...I don't want to push for more...than like, friends...but if it happens..." If it happened, then he was perfectly fine with it. Maybe Jamie wasn't.

Jamie clenched his fists. "No, Jory, that's not it at all." He said shaking his head. He was suddenly aware of how much his decision doesn't affect only him. He was selfish to push himself away from Jory because he was too scared of what people might think. "I want to touch you, to hold you, to feel you in my arms, but it doesn't stop there." He admitted. "If I start, I can't make a promise that I'll be able to stop myself."

"There isn't any reason to worry about that," Jory said. "And if you don't try it, then you'll never be able to control it, right?" He would love to be held by Jamie, to be able to be comfortable and talk and laugh with him. Was it really smart to test it? That could be his problem, he just moved too fast when he met guys. But no, that wasn't really it. He had known Lyric for months before that first time, hadn't he? Too many what ifs ran through his mind for him to be able to sort them out.

"Try what?" Jamie asked. They had tried something the first time they met, and it made Jamie feel so happy, comforted, relieved, terrified. He had tried avoiding Jory and hoped that by doing so, he'd avoid recreating the same feelings he had the first time they had met. Now, he was trying to be friends with Jory, but his emotions got in the way. Or at least they still were getting in the way as he tried to fight it. What was there left to try?
