Ariel looked over at her and watched her silently for a few seconds before he finally shrugged. "More than likely," he said. Lalita was missing a lot more than she could ever imagine. He watched her for a moment more before looking out over the lake again. He fingered his cigarette absently. It was harder than he wanted to admit not to light it.

"That's good enough for me then." She also shrugged then followed his gaze to the lake. It was a very pretty lake, and a good place for thinking. If she had any major problems, she could see herself coming out here in the future. For the time being though, she enjoyed staying out here, problemless and relaxed. Her thoughts traveled for a brief moment to the scene in the Owlery at her former school, and to the girl Jasmine. In that brief moment she suddenly had the strange curiosity as to what she was doing right now. She pushed aside those thoughts after a second though, no point in getting hung up on the past.

Ariel took a breath, and after running his hands through his hair, which only revealed his eyes for a second or two before the hair fell back over his eyes, moved to stand. "While it has been a pleasure," Ariel said, more out of the feeling that he needed to say something rather than the actual want to speak. "I'm leaving." Yes, he had learned quite a bit in his time with Markise, but he could still be very blunt when he wasn't concentrating hard enough.

"Oh, okay," Lalita said, turning to look at him. "Well, it was nice meeting you. Maybe we'll se each other again soon?" She hoped that this wouldn't be their last conversation, she was much too fascinated by him to let that happen. With any luck, they would run into each other a few more times so that she could find out more about him.

Ariel stood and slipped his little black stick into his pocket. He shrugged at her question, "Next term," he said. He was leaving for the summer, so there was no sense in even trying to tell her it'd be soon, if ever. Not that he even considered wanting to see her again. It was easy to be curious about another conversation with her, but it was just as easy to consider never seeing her again.

"Okay. See you then I guess." When Logan left, Lalita sat for a moment before also standing up. She brushed whatever dirt had flown onto her while she had been sitting off of her then looked around. There wasn't a lot of people outside and not much to do outide anyway. With a small shrug she decided to go wander around the school for little while to see what she could see.
