Carolynn's eyes sparkled and she couldn't keep her eyes from wandering over to Eros every so often. But still, Markise was fascinating and still enough to keep her interest while he was still in the room. It would be a shame for them to leave, but perhaps she could sneak a peek. She knew Mano wouldn't mind, and she was fairly certain that Markise wouldn't.

Eros was all anticipation now. He decided that a wait-and-see approach would fit the situation best, as his weekend in New York would surely be retracted if Markise found himself regretting anything later. Besides, by the look of things, the boy likely wouldn't notice an observer, and Eros would have that much more of an advantage when he finally had the pretty blond alone.

Mano grinned and then stood, absently giving his excuse before offering a hand to Markise. It wouldn't take long to get upstairs, and if they ended up with visitors, all the better. His eyes flickered to Eros and Carolynn and they sparkled softly as he looked at the two, then brought them back around to Markise.

Carolynn's eyes followed the pair as they headed toward the staircase, and only when they were out of view did she turn her eyes back to Eros. "I swear, sometimes it seems like Mano gets all the fun," she said, pouting a little. She had found that men that knew Mano owned the cafe weren't so eager to go up to her room.

Eros brought his eyes back from the doorway to Caro, letting them settle for a moment on that lovely pout. "I'd gladly assist you in remedying the situation," he said. He wondered, and perhaps it was partly due to the wine, if having had Mano might pave his way with Carolynn. His eyes met hers, and he began to debate the wisdom in joining her on her couch, as opposed to trailing after Mano and Markise.

Carolynn raised an eyebrow at Eros and her pout softened. She shifted slightly in her spot. She could only imagine, and she had heard good things about Eros. It would certainly wouldn't be something she would regret. She pulled her legs in closer to her on the couch. "I'm sure you would," she said.

Eros's lips curved slightly at Caro's subtle invitation, and after one last sip of the fine wine he'd been drinking, he set his glass aside, standing to offer Carolynn his hand. "Might I suggest, then, that we do any sightseeing now? I assure you that the detour will work out in the end." Things were working out admirably for him. Years in Mano's and Carolynn's company, and things were simply happening. As much as he regretted the lack of widespread social stimulation, it seemed to be to his favor when it came to the two of them.
