Michael smiled but didn't look back up at Dare. He really didn't feel enough of a connection with anyone to make a concrete decision. Maybe a year ago he would have easily been able to choose, but so many people had left and he had lost contact with them. "The only ones I really have are Dru and Eros." There was Grey and his mother, but he wasn't about to chose either one of them.

Dare lifted his hand again, bringing it alongside Michael's jaw. "Don't worry about it," he said softly. He'd rather Silver feel superfluous than Michael end up choosing a place-filler. He smoothed his thumb lightly over Michael's lips, his gaze dropping. "I'm not going to make you pick someone. The ceremony's for us, right?" His eyes lifted again to Michael's.

Michael looked up at Dare and a small smile pulled at his lips. "Thank you." If something happened before the ceremony that made him know someone would be a good fit, then he would ask them to stand by him. He wasn't going to force a decision when no one seemed right. He knew that, before, if he had ended up like he was supposed to, it would have been Emilian, probably with both Eros and Mano there, as well.

"No problem," Dare teased lightly. He let his hand trace the line of Michael's jaw, his gaze moving to watch the motions. He thought about stretching up or pulling Michael down for a kiss, but for the moment he was content to talk. "What happened to your pictures?" he asked. His gaze jumped back up to Michael's eyes. "I could give you something to take pictures of..."

"I took a couple of Elouai," Michael said, taking his hand from Dare's stomach to dig in his pocket and pull them out, then set them by his elbow and picked up the camera. Then he looked up at Dare and raised an eyebrow. "What can you give me to take pictures of?" he asked, one corner of his lips turning up in a smile.

Dare's eyes sparked immediately with mischief. "Well, I can't do much where there are people all over the place," he said, "but I could do a little something..." His hand caught at the hem of his shirt and he pulled it up teasingly. He could think of a lot more that he could get away with on such a warm day, but he'd pace himself if he could. He didn't want to miss a look from Michael.

Michael grinned, both at Dare and himself as his eyes went without his control to the bit of skin that was revealed. He had long ago given up trying to keep his eyes from wandering, and even now when he was so used to seeing even more of Dare he couldn't stop himself from looking. After a moment his eyes flickered back up to Dare's and then immediately down as he pulled out the camera and shifted into a better position.

Dare stretched his long legs down, then let them relax how they would as he slowly moved the hem of his shirt up further. He technically wasn't doing anything objectionable, but it felt risqué as he looked up at Michael. He loved their little photo sessions, and had long ago admitted to himself that he was a bit of an exhibitionist, especially for Michael and his camera.

Michael glanced around the park, but no one was watching, no one even glanced their way. His lips felt pulled into a permanent smile as he snapped a picture. He loved taking pictures of Dare. It wasn't something he had ever been into before, but he had never had a camera before. He didn't like being at the other end of the camera as much, but he was getting more used to it each time Dare switched sides on him.

When Dare had his shirt as far as it would comfortably go, his smile grew crooked again. He paused, then moved, pushing up to sit. Elouai's ears immediately perked, and she got up as well, ready to play again. Dare looked over his shoulder at Michael, then silently thanked the weather. It was a perfect excuse to pull his shirt over his head and drop it aside. Then Dare grabbed Elouai's ball and stood, giving Michael one last look.

Michael sat up and snapped another picture of Dare standing. He was sure that he was the only one that would ever enjoy the majority of the pictures he took, other than Dare, but that didn't mean anything. He would still take as many as he possibly could. He thought he should probably get an album to put them in. As long as that album was hidden away somewhere no one would find it. "What, are you going to pose for me now?" he teased.

"Poetry in motion, right?" Dare teased back. He got Elouai excited again before jogging off just far enough to comfortably throw the ball. He tossed a brief look at Michael, then turned himself to executing as perfect a throw as he could. He could feel the camera, and it kept his adrenaline high, but for now he made himself focus on the game with Eouai, and giving Michael a show.

Michael found himself chewing on his lower lip as he clicked a few pictures of Dare moving. He knew the pictures themselves would move, but the more the better. It was great to be able to relax like this, and be outside like this as he watched Dare. This was the perfect day to have before the stress of exam week found him. "You look amazing," he said, looking up from the pictures after he added them to the short stack.

Dare paused to grin at Michael, still lightly flushed from exertion, and tossed his head lightly. His fringe shifted, then fell back into place. "I try," he replied. He struck a pose for Michael, paused, then bent as Elouai returned with her ball. He tugged at it a bit before she finally let go and he straightened again to throw it.

"Don't hurt yourself," Michael teased, raising one eyebrow at Dare as he waited for the latest picture to come out. Then he watched Dare without the camera for a few seconds. "You don't have to try hard, anyway," he said, then gave a small grin and focused on the camera. He knew he probably didn't say those kinds of things often enough, but they had never come as easily to his lips as they had to his mind.
