Ariel yawned and nodded, then looked down to see Markise not even pretending to move. "Well then get up, lazy," he prodded, his eyes sparkling softly through the remaining haze from their activities. He had no idea how late it was, or if it just felt later because of the physical exertion, but it was probably time, or past time, to be in the dorms again.

Markise's lips curved. "Mm-m," he hummed. His arm slid slowly across Ariel to hold him lightly. He knew he'd have to get up some time, but at the moment, he was floating and didn't have a care in the world. They could play and he'd be happy, or Ariel could make him get up. Or they could stay here. And have miserably sore backs in the morning and be physically incapable of any real motion tomorrow. Markise groaned softly in displeasure.

"Don't make me make you," Ariel warned, tightening his arm against Markise's back. He didn't think he would have any problems getting Markise off the desk, if it came down to that. He tilted his head to look down at the blond hair covering Markise's, and debated. He would give him one more chance, then Ariel would come up with something to get Markise up and running.

Markise had no clue what Ariel was thinking, and he was feeling playful and lazy, so he made no effort to get up. He didn't say make me, but he might as well have, for all he moved. "Mmm, I like it when you hold me like this," he said. That strong arm tight against him, strong muscles relaxed half beneath him. Markise slid one leg slowly against Ariel's, then settled down again with another sigh.

Ariel shifted, though he had forgotten his exact plan, whatever it had been, the moment that leg had moved against his. He couldn't say he didn't like when Markise laid against him like that. He shifted onto his side to bring his other arm over to Markise. "So you're not going to get up?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked down at Markise.

Markise looked up at Ariel with softly shining eyes half hazed from lingering pleasure and sleepiness. "Why would I want to do that?" he asked. Rationally he knew that he should get up, that he should find the quickest route to his bed and fall in clothes and all, but he was curious now; what was Ariel thinking? And how could Markise get out of it, other than getting to his feet? Markise parted his lips against Ariel's neck for a slow kiss.

"Because you don't want to see me when I've not slept," Ariel offered, his plans quickly running from his mind at those soft lips on his neck. He tried to keep hold of them, but they refused to stay. In all reality, he was good on very few hours a night, was content with only a few hours a night where some people could only function on it, if that. He moved his hands down to pull Markise close.

Markise made a low noise of displeasure at Ariel's words. He might have tried pulling away, but those arms felt so nice around him. He cursed his body for not being ready yet. "I don't think I can get up by myself," Markise said, forcing himself to stop his kisses against Ariel's neck. Still, he stretched against Ariel as he lay, telling himself he should just make himself pull away. "You wore me out," he added, as though he hadn't done the same for Ariel.

Ariel nodded, it would be a lie to say the same wasn't true for him as well. He raised an eyebrow and tried to ignore the feel of Markise stretching against him. "I could just push you off," he said, moving his hands to Markise's waist threateningly. He wouldn't, of course, but the gleam in his eyes was enough to say that there was at least a chance of it.

Markise's eyes widened at that. He might have laughed, but he wasn't entirely sure that Ariel wouldn't do it. Laughing in his face would be like asking for it. Markise hardly thought before he hooked one of his legs around one of Ariel's and wrapped one arm around Ariel's waist. "If you do, I'm taking you down with me," he stated. There was amusement in his pale eyes as he looked up at Ariel, but there was also challenge.

Ariel tightened his hands against Markise's waist and pushed lightly, "I'm stronger." While he didn't for a second believe that it would be easy to pull away from Markise's grasp, Ariel thought he could do it. But then, maybe he didn't want to, he rather liked how it felt to have that leg and that arm wrapped around him like that. He raised an eyebrow, daring Markise to say something.

Markise gave a light squeak at Ariel's half-hearted attempt, his arm and leg tightening against Ariel, fingers pressing into his skin. "Okay, maybe a little," he assented. His heart beat just a bit faster at that thought, at acknowledging out loud that he knew Ariel could overpower him, and at the related thought of Ariel taking advantage of that power. He was awake now from the game they were playing, though his body still wanted desperately to just relax. Preferably in his bed. With Ariel. Markise mentally sighed.

Ariel raised an eyebrow and his eyes glinted dangerously. "A little?" he asked, shifting them both an inch closer to the edge of the table. He didn't plan on pushing Markise off of the desk, no, but he was highly interested in how close he could get him before Markise said something about it. It was a little harder to concentrate with the tightening of Markise's limbs around him, but Ariel tried to keep his focus.

Markise pulled a quick breath, and his eyes widened slightly as Ariel moved them. He turned his head to look back over his shoulder, but he couldn't tell exactly how close to the edge he was. "Marginally stronger?" Markise asked, turning his gaze innocently back up to Ariel. If he went over the edge, he'd fall, no question, and it was debatable whether he'd be able to get Ariel all the way over with him. Of course, even if they both went, Markise would take the brunt of the fall, and that was something he didn't look forward to.

Ariel thought for a moment, then shook his head, "Not the right answer." His lower hand reached out to see that they had his hand's length left, then moved his arm tightly around Markise. "Do you want to see how far you can push me?" he asked, raising his other eyebrow, though it was hidden under his hair. He wondered faintly just how late it was, but it didn't bother him very much as he would have been fine to stay in the room all night.
