"I think I did too" she said, the surprise evident in her voice. She smiled at him. "The girlfriend will get angry" she said softly, forcing them back into reality. She knew it would be all to easy to forget why they broke up so they could have the pleasure of a kiss, but if Vannah saw they would both be in trouble.

Gabby nodded, then looked both ways, up and down the corridor. "one more" she said softly, pressing her lips to his firmly. Kissing Ryan was intoxicating, but she really like Kevin, she knew this was their final, goodbye kiss.

Ryan knew this would be his last kiss with Gabby and made sure it was worth it. He held her close to him and kissed her deeply.

Gabby felt herself slipping and she knew that she wouldn't be able to stop soon. She let herself have a few more moments as she committed the moment to memory, she wanted to remember Ryan. She then broke the kiss, wishing she didn't have to, but knowing it was the only thing to do. She let her forehead rest against Ryan's as she looked into his eyes. "I love you Ryan" she whispered, she wasn't ashamed to say it now.

Gabby smiled, she didn't want words right now. Words would only ruin what was passing between them. Gently and reluctantly she tightened her embrace with Ryan before easing out of his arms. She picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder. She turned to look at him, smiling sadly. "I'm going to miss you baby" she said softly.

Gabby nodded, she knew that if she said anything else she would start to cry. She just smiled at him one last time and walked off down the corridor. Halfway down she paused and turned to look back at him, wishing for just that moment that she didn't have to walk away. She knew that she wasn't meant to be with him though, yet there would always be space in her heart for him.
