Ryan sighed and nodded "Im sorry Gabby. I am very glad that you have found someone, and if he ever does anything to you like I have done I will have a talk with him. You have to be very very stupid to do what I did to someone as great and beautiful as you."

Gabby listened, she didn't know how she felt about this. She really liked spending time with Kevin and they had been getting closer. She smiled at Ryan slightly, "You're always so nice about yourself" she teased, some of her old spirit coming back.

Gabby nodded, not wanting to say anything as it could make her sound vain. "I'm glad we had this talk" she said finally, she knew she had needed it. It enabled her to move on from Ryan. "About the ring" she started as she drew out the chain it hung on around her neck.

Gabby nodded, relieved she wouldn't have to argue with Ryan to keep it. "I want to" she admitted. "I still love it, even though it doesn't signify our love anymore. It represents my first love and so it's important to me." she said softly. She tucked back into her shirt and it fell back into place. Only Ryan would know she wore it now.

"I won't ever forget Ryan" she said softly, looking up at him. She smiled slightly, she was hardly even aware that she was still in his arms, it still felt comfortable, even though they weren't together.

"I'll miss you too" she replied softly. On an impulse she stretch up on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheeks. She smiled at him slightly as she returned to her normal height.

Gabby saw his cheeks become flushed. "You're not still a little coy are you" she teased. She felt the urge to kiss him properly, tempted to see his reaction. But she knew she shouldn't. Instead she reached up and rubbed off a little bit of her lip gloss that had rubbed off on his cheek.

Now Ryan was making her blush. She looked down, smiling but trying to turn away at the same time. She didn't move her hand though. She realised that he would just tease her now so she turned back to him. She was undecided for only a second before she kissed him swiftly and lightly on the lips. She pulled away again and smiled shyly at Ryan. "It had to be done" she said with a shrug.
