[Cassie Jones]

Cassie slowed down as she reached the corridor. She let go of Jacob's hand and without explanation started to pace up and down the corridor. On her third length she stopped and turned to the wall. Suddenly a door appeared silently, she smiled and took a step forward as she placed her hand on the handle. "Coming?" she asked Jacob softly as she turned to him.

Jacob was on cloud nine. He couldn't believe it. She seriously wanted to be alone with him........him!!!!! Not that Jacob was a gargoyle or anything, but............she was just so beautiful. Jacob smiled at his own luck, and walked up behind Cassie. "I'm right behind you hun. Lead the way." Wow, he had regained the ability of speech. Impressive, considering the amount of shock he was in.

Cassie smiled and turned the handle. She stepped inside and left the door open for Jacob to follow her in. As Cassie looked around the room she was pleased with what she saw. It was the perfect size, not tiny and cramped but cosy and intimate. Soft music and a beautiful fragrance filled the air. In a small fireplace set in one wall a fire crackled merrily and infront of it was a soft rug. There was a sofa on the opposite wall, soft with cusions and just big enough for two. Above a little table there was a window which looked out onto a dusk sky, the sickle moon just visible with a sprinkling of the brightest stars. Cassie sighed with pleasure and took a few steps into the room. "The wonders of the imagination" she said as she turned to see what Jacob's reaction to the room was.

Jacob couldn't believe everything Cassie had done for him........for them..............As he walked into the room and saw all the features.................it was just perfect for the intimate evening that Jacob so desired. He smiled at Cassie, and walked over to her taking her in his arms. "This is beautiful hun, but the most beautiful thing in here hun is still you." Jacob smiled and kissed Cassie. He let her go, and went to sit on the loveseat. He sat down, and streched himself out, strangely feeling alot more comfortable and relaxed.

Cassie smiled back, pleased that Jacob liked the room. She kissed him back softly and followed him with his eyes as he went to sit down. After a short pause she went and sat down on the rug, keeping everything relaxed and slow. "So, what do you want to do?" she asked, pulling up her knees and resting her head on them. "This is your night. you can decide" she said with a grin, handing control over to Jacob. Cassie stretched out on the rug before the fire, turning her head so she could look at Jacob.

Jacob gulped as Cassie handed him control of the night. I mean, there were several things he would like to do, but he wasn't sure if she was ready for that. As a matter of fact, he wasn't even sure if he was ready for that. He decided that keeping it slow, and really getting to know each other would probably be the best thing at the moment. He sighed, and let himself slip off the couch and onto the floor, letting the couch support his back as he streched out his legs. "Well...................lets just talk for now. I got it! Lets play a game. I will ask you a question, anything at all, and then you can ask me a question." Jacob knew how stupid that sounded, but honestly all he wanted to do at the moment was get to know the person he was slowly falling in love with.

Cassie nodded and closed her eyes, enjoying the warmth of the fire. "Sounds good." she said lazily. "Ok, you can start" she offered as she smoothed her hair out of the way and got ready to listen to Jacob's question.

Jacob smiled, before putting a serious face on. "hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............lets see here..............." Jacob decided to start with an easy question, just to lighten the mood. "What gets you excited the most?"

Cassie smiled and opened one eye to look at Jacob. "Dancing of course" she said before closing her eye again. Cassie thought about a suitable question. "Ok, what's one of your great passions?" Cassie asked, matching Jacob's question. "Like mine is dance or art" she added, making it clearer.

[Jacob Cullen]

Jacob smiled. "Well, even though I am not very good at it..........I have always loved to sing. I believe that music is the language of the soul, and everytime I sing it feels like the world just gets a little better. It can get me in trouble sometimes though, cause I do it in the most random places." Jacob winked, and smiled at Cassie. "What is your greatest hate in your life? Like mine is liars and thieves. They should all just be burned at the stake."

Cassie giggled and sat up on her elbows, looking over towards Jacob. The firelight lit up her hair, making it look like gold. She sat listening to his answer and smiled, totally agreeing. "Hmm, my greatest hate has to be people who give up. There's just no point, because you can nearly always win out in the end." She answered. Jacob's remark about liars registered in her brain, and although it made Cassie feel a little guilty, nothing gave her away. "So, what would be a great relaxing evening for you?" Cassie asked, trying to find the real Jacob behind the shy exterior.

Jacob smiled at Cassie's answer. It seemed like she was talking about him. He smiled. He wasn't going to give up no matter what. He nodded in thought at her question. "A relaxing evening to me is...............well.................its this right here. Just relaxing on a sofa, with a bowl of popcorn, and the person I enjoy most in this world. I don't need resturants or movies, or anything like that. The thing I want most is just intimacy." Jacob was a little embaressed by his answer, but he didn't show it. He smiled, and looked into Cassie's eyes. "Same question to you hun."

Cassie nodded but concentrated briefly. She heard a small pop and opened her eyes. Sitting next to Jacob was a bowl of popcorn. She laughed, "I love this place" she said before closing her eyes again. "Ok, a relaxing evening for me would just be somewhere cosy with good conversation" at this point she opened her eyes briefly to flash a smile at Jacob before closing them again. "And intimacy" Cassie replied, echoing Jacob's answer.

Jacob shouted in glee as the popcorn appeared. It was most definately one of his favorite snack, and he helped himself to a handful. At Cassie's answer, Jacob smiled, and nodded his agreement, but when she threw in the bit about intimacy, Jacob took it as a hint. He got up, and went over to the rug she was lying on, laying down next to her. He looked into her eyes, and began to softly trace the skin of her face. "Is this intimate enough for you hun?"

Cassie giggled at his reaction to the popcorn. When Jacob came over to her and touched his fingers to her cheek it felt electric. She sighed softly and closed her eyes, enjoying his touch. "Perfect" she breathed, titlting her head towards him.
