Time for a break (Brenna/open)

[Brenna MacKenzie]

"Cheesecake sounds delicious." Brenna said with a nod. "Thank you." She said gratefully. She stared out the window and at the castle. She wondered if her brother had already arrived, that would explain why the owl got there so fast, and she decided to look for him that night.

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby nodded and got up, walking over to the refrigerated cabinet. She cut two slices of cheesecake and placed them on plates. Returning the cheesecake to the cabinet she walked back over to the table, collecting two forks as she went. "There you go" she said, placing Brenna's slice in front of her. "What does it taste like?" Gabby asked, curious to see how the spell worked for Brenna. Gabby knew hers would be chocolate, but not everyone had the same tastes.

Brenna took a piece with her fork and ate it. She knew from her hand to let deserts simply melt away in your mouth and not to eat them fast. "Mmm...Marscapone." She said. It was one of her favorite flavors. "This is amazing." She said smiling.

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby smiled, and took a bite of hers, "Chocolate" she said after she had taken the first bite. "My cheesecake has a bit of magic about it," Gabby hinted, her eyes sparkling glad that her experiment had worked. "It's sort of an experiment so I'll soon be introducing it."

[Brenna MacKenzie]

"Oh, I see. Well it is amazing, whatever you did to this." Brenna said. She took another bite a savored it. "It is so light and creamy..It's perfect!"

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby blushed, "I made one plain cheesecake, but it's magicked so that it's falvour will be the favourite of the person who's going to eat it." Gabby took another bite of her own, delicious chocoalte cheesecake. "I have no idea how it works, it was my grandmother's spell"

[Brenna MacKenzie]

"It tastes exactly like something I would get back home. That is a very good spell." Brenna said. She drank some of her coffee, the bitterness balanced the sweetness of the cheesecake perfectly.

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

"I do my best" Gabby said modestly, but with laughter in her voice so you could tell she was joking. "It makes my life a lot easier." Gabby admitted.

[Brenna MacKenzie]

Brenna laughed a little. "It is getting pretty late." She said. She had hoped there would still be enough time to go searching for her brother. "Thank you so much for the desert and coffee. It was amazing."

[Gabby Brocklehurst]

Gabby nodded, "It's fine, there'll always be a cup with your name on it here if you want" Gabby joked as she started to clear away the cups and plates. Gabby couldn't be bothered to carry it through to the kitchen, so she spelled it to hover through and land on the side. She heard a crash and winced, "Oh well, I really shouldn't so this when I'm tired obviously" Gabby said ruefully.

Brenna smiled. She flicked her wand and repaired the plates. "Stay out of trouble." She teased. With another quick note of gratitude, Brenna walked out of the shop and hurried up to the castle to avoid freezing to death.

Gabby nodded at Brenna, but as soon as she had left, she sighed. Staying out of trouble was easier said than done in Gabby's case. Gabby grabbed her stuff and waved hre wands, shutting the lights off, she stepped outside and locked the door before making her way back to the castle.
