Brooke just smiled at Chase and then deciding that she couldn't really just ignore Vannah. "you mean you actually know how to send stuff flying, I'm shocked." She said in a bored tone looking down at her nails, She then turned to Chase "Thanks for the warning, its nice to see that someone actually cares." The boredom had dropped from her voice the second she started talking to Chase.

Vannah's mouth was held open as if she were just slapped. She narrowed her eyes. "Oh, I could do so much more than that.." She threatened in a lower voice. The idea was so tempting. Her cold eyes stayed on Brooke even when Brooke turned away from her.

Chase waited a moment before drawing attention to himself again. "I didn't know you were the jealous type, Vannah," he said. Not that he thought she was jealous, but Vannah brought out his arrogant side, and the desire to play with her was overpowering.

Vannah's head tilted slightly to look at Chase. "Jealous of what exactly? Of you? Of her?" Vannah looked at Brooke. "Is that some kind of joke?" She said with a little laugh in her voice. Maybe she was jealous of something before, but not so much now and not ever because of Chase or who he was with.

"She's in denial," Chase said to Brooke, though the statement was obviously for Vannah's benefit. "And I'm out of here." Playing a little mind game was all well and good, but things had quickly moved from fun to annoying, and Chase didn't have the patience to stand here and take Vannah's barbs when he could be reacquainting himself with the school grounds. "Nice meeting you," Chase said to Brooke, and resumed his interrupted trip back across the lawns.

"fork off." Vannah mumbled under her breath before Chase left. She decided to avoid any sort of fight, she'd just keep on looking for her snitch. Vannah spotted it under a tree and picked it up. One wing was missing and one was broken. The ball itself was cracked. "I suppose I'll be needing a new." She said to herself as she studied it.
