Chase hadn't come here to get cleaned up, though it was obvious from his appearance that he was in the right place. Even if you discounted the swollen, bleeding jaw, his movements weren't quite as graceful as usual, owing to the numerous large bruises spread across his body.
The dark look on his face declared that whatever had happened was still fresh in his mind. He'd walked away from the fight, but it wasn't over. The next time he saw Emilian, there would be no one to save him.
Chase called for Dru, knowing she'd be here, since it was still school hours. He didn't feel like being alone with his thoughts right now.

Dru came out of her office and her eyes widened when she saw who had called her name. "Chase!" She waved her wand behind her, summoning a bottle of lotion and one of potion. They flew to her hand and she walked over to him. "Sit down, what on earth happened to you?" she asked, pulling out a small towel.

Chase halfheartedly waved Dru off, but took the seat she offered gratefully. "I met Emilian," he said. That would probably be more than enough of an explanation. "If I'd just pulled my wand on him to begin with..." Chase's eyes blazed as he thought back on the girl who'd stopped him.

Dru glared at him when he waved her away and just put some lotion on the rag. "And what possessed you to fight him in the first place?" she asked, tenderly rubbing the cloth along his jaw. It wasn't the smartest idea in the world to pick a fight with someone like Emilian.

Chase grimaced, but didn't pull away from Dru. It wasn't worth picking a fight with her. "Come on, he needed his ass kicked anyway. What he needs is a good AK between the eyes, and I swear, if another girl tells me to just leave it alone..." Chase had just enough presence of mind not to finish that sentence, though it didn't stop him from thinking over the possibilities.

"I'm not going to tell you to leave it alone. I agree, he needs to be kicked around some, but to take him on your first time meeting?" Dru sighed, getting some more lotion and moving to the other side of his face. "That's not smart with anyone, no matter who they are." In her eyes, someone should know at least a little of the manarisms of their opponent.

Chase shrugged, grimacing again at the growing stiffness in his shoulders. "What was I supposed to do, talk to him? Ask him if he's done any good raping lately? Ask him if he's been checking out the club? You let bastards like them get away with it, they'll do it again, and sooner or later..." Chase stopped himself, gritting his teeth. He looked away from Dru, hiding the sudden darkness that he knew she'd see in his eyes.

Dru was silent as he spoke, and even after he finished. She decided to not say anything else condemning Chase's actions as she continued rubbing gently over his jaw. "Did he walk away looking half as bad as you do?" she asked, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips with the mental image of Emilian with a swollen face.

Chase grinned, the wound at his mouth splitting again with the motion. "He won't be doing any raping for a while," he said cryptically. "And half the school knows what he's hiding under his pants, so that ought to take him down a little." When brute force hadn't worked, he'd gone for humiliation.

Dru gave a short, light laugh, "Maybe he'll lay low for a while then." She patted the newly opened wound with the rag and then put it down, reaching for the other bottle. "Here, drink some of this, it tastes horrible but it helps with bruises and such." She wondered what all other injuries he had and found herself worrying, hoping no serious damage had been done.

Chase gave Dru a poor attempt at a glare for fussing, but took the potion from her and downed it. He made a face of disgust before setting the bottle aside and giving Dru a subtle, sexy pout which was ruined by the spark of interest in his eyes. "I don't think that potion's going to be enough." Chase was more than willing to let go of the Emilian issue for now and concentrate on more pleasant things.

Dru couldn't help but let out a small laugh. The expression he was going for didn't have the same effect in his current state. "I can always give you more," she said, grinning. She couldn't help but look at him, still worried.

"I'll pass." Chase shifted slightly, wincing at the pain in his abdomen before looking up at Dru hopefully. "You wouldn't have anything to put on the bruises, would you?" He couldn't stop himself from grinning, even if it split his lip again. He was laying it on pretty thick.

Dru grinned, "Well, I do, but you'd have to chance the possibility that I may press a little too hard when I rub it in." She knew what he was getting at, but she also knew that, with how he was, there was a very slim chance, unless he had some kind of miraculous recovery in the next few minutes.

Chase brought up his hand, slipping it around her waist to draw her closer. "I think I could handle it," he said. "I'm a risk-taker, Dru." His eyes laughed at his own declaration as he angled to risk some physical contact. He was having to work to ignore the soreness of his body, but he'd conveniently forgotten how horrible he must look, bruised and battered despite the teasing grin.
