Ryan ordered a fire whiskey at the bar and walked off to find an empty table. There were quite a few people in here, but none from what Ryan could tell, that he knew. He sat down at a table in the back corner and started on his drink. He had been gone from the magical world for a long time, spending the past years in the muggle world with his family. It took a lot for him to decide to come back due to all of the pain and tough times that he has gone through in his past. That is why when he made the decision, he came to Diagon Alley, and did not go back to Hogwarts. He looked around at all of the people, wondering if he would see anyone he knew.

Indigo had stopped by the ice cream shop as usual, but wasn't ready to head back to school and ducked into the Leaky Cauldron instead. He'd heard bad things about the owner, but the guy was nowhere to be seen. He did, however, see someone he recognized from another House, the Hufflepuff prefect.
Indigo hadn't been Gryffindor prefect long. He debated just getting a butterbeer and sitting alone, but he should probably at least try to be social with the others. He got his butterbeer in a bottle, sighed, and headed over. "Ryan Magby, right?" he asked.

Ryan looked up at the sound of his name being said. He saw a boy that he very vaguely recognized, he had probably only seen him once or twice before. "Yes, that is right. I'm sorry, but I don't know your name, I have seen you before though. Gryffindor prefect?" He asked, sure that he was right. After a short pause he added, "Care to sit with me?" as to not be rude. He wasn't really sure if he wanted the boy to join him or not, but he could not help but make the offer. He wanted to try to make a better name for himself now that he was back.

"Yeah, sure," Indigo said. He took a seat and a quick drink of butterbeer. "I'm Indigo," he said. "I've only been Gryffindor prefect a few months. Before me it was Jory." And before Jory it had been Ryan Pritchard, though that seemed like a hundred years ago. Indigo had never actually met the guy. "I haven't seen you around for a while. Been laying low?" It seemed like people did that from time to time. He couldn't blame them, considering the drama at Hogwarts.

Ryan smiled slightly "Nice to meet you Indigo. Well if you consider leaving school as laying low, then yes. I left and went back into the muggle world. Tended to some family issues and decided to stay away for a while. Kinda fought myself about coming back. Still not sure if I will go back to the school or not though." He had thought a lot about whether he would go back and finish his final year of school or not. He wanted to, but he didn't know if he would be able to deal with all the pain, all the rumors, all the questions that would be sure to arise. After a few moments he realized he had let himself drift a little, so he recovered by asking "So how are things going up at the school? Still crazy as always?"

Indigo's lips quirked at the question. "Of course," he said. He wondered how long Ryan had been at Hogwarts. The guy seemed like a staple of the place. "The Daily Prophet's been slacking off, but it's been busy. The Deputy Headmaster is married, but he's pretty quiet now. I heard he was a troublemaker when he was a student." Indigo didn't know who Ryan was interested in hearing about, but Chase Firebrand was usually a safe bet.

Ryan tilted his head a little at the mention of the Deputy Headmaster "Sad to hear that the Prophet is slacking. Guess they couldn't find anyone else to spread rumors about daily after I left. So, Who is the Deputy Headmaster? I think I must have left before that job was given to someone." He wondered if it was anyone he knew. Certainly it wouldn't have been either of the two that he loathed at the school, Emilian or Chase. Maybe it could be Michael? He always did seem like a pretty good guy, although Ryan never really interacted with him that much.

"Chase Firebrand," Indigo answered. "It's been a couple years, I think. Hells took over as Headmistress the year he left school, and she like, offered him the position. A lot of people thought it'd be Grey Sebastien, but I heard he's an alcoholic." And an Auror. It seemed like having an Auror as Deputy Headmaster would be a good idea.

Ryan choked on his fire whiskey a little. "You've got to be kidding me. They let that pathetic piece of crap be Deputy Headmaster? Well, I think that guarantees that I won't be going back to school anytime soon. Probably wouldn't look to good if I got into a duel withe the Deputy Headmaster." He finished with a cold laugh. Ryan and Chase never really got into it while they were in school together, but Ryan completely detested Chase, and if he saw him face to face, it would probably not be a pleasant sight. "Yea, I heard that Grey was an alcoholic as well. Not really surprised if he is."

Indigo's brows arched at Ryan's reaction. There had been a lot of people who weren't thrilled about Chase's new position, but he'd never heard the guy called a pathetic piece of crap. He almost wanted to defend the guy. Of course, when he'd showed up, Chase had been Head Boy and all responsible.
"Why would he be an alcoholic?" Indigo asked about Grey. "I heard he proposed to Hells and she shot him down, but that's all I know about." Unless he really was an Auror. Maybe he'd seen some horrible Auror stuff.

Ryan shrugged "I didn't really know him too well, but I heard that he had a lot of problems, and that he took it pretty hard when Hells shot him down, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was an alcoholic. And don't give me that look about Chase. He may have changed now, I don't know, but when I knew him, he was probably the worst guy at the school. At least until Emilian showed up." He finished softly, remembering all of the problems that Emilian caused.

Indigo had to think about the name Emilian before it clicked. His nose wrinkled. "Emilian's the guy at the jewellery shop, isn't he?" he asked. "He's sick. He was doing stuff with someone and beating them up. A jealous ex went and kicked his ass." Indigo knew all the names involved, but wasn't about to say so. "Everyone hates him." Chase, however, was all responsible. He'd docked Slytherin House Points for Vannah pinching his butt at his wedding, but other than that he seemed pretty fair. It looked like some people changed and some didn't.

Ryan nodded softly "Emilian is a bad person, and I don't mean just school bad. He is a truly bad person. I have came close to having a few duels with him but they were always stopped. He has screwed up a lot of peoples lives around here." He said, finishing the rest of that thought in his mind, like mine and Vannah's. "I can't believe that hedidnt get thrown in Azkaban when he got thrown out of school. It's where he belongs." He finished his fire whiskey and looked down into the empty mug, getting lost in his thoughts again

"I haven't heard anything about him in like, a year," Indigo said. "The new kids at the school just know him as the creepy guy at the jewellery shop. No one goes in there unless they don't know better." No one wanted to get hit on by some gross old man, and however old the guy really was, he qualified.
"So who were you friends with? Maybe I know someone you used to hang out with." Or know of, more likely. Indigo had been around a couple years now, and though he wasn't a gossip-monger, he heard stuff.

Ryan smiled slightly, "Well, since you knew my name, you I would figure that you would already know some of the people I hung out with Savannah Brooks, Gabby Brocklehurst, Pandora D' Winter, Eloise Thomas. Then going further back, Druscilla Grace, Lexus Star, Michael Blackwood, Rebecca Wagner." He finished listing off the names. Most of which had left, although he was sure Michael was still around. "So, how many of those do you know?" He asked.
