Castiel was disappointed that none of his hoped-for breakfast foods were out. He wasn't sure what British people ate for breakfast, but he'd been hoping for eggs, sausages, waffles, something sweet and something savory to ease his mind a little and help him wake up.
It appeared to be lunch, though. He wasn't the only Ravenclaw to have slept in after the new year; there had been a few in the Common Room still wearing their pajamas, but he'd slept the latest. It was six hours later here so he really shouldn't have, but he'd been out rather late, and then he'd written in his journal before finally trying to sleep.
He was wearing a shirt with a high collar today, having noticed an unsightly mark on his neck, however faded it still might be. He'd probably end up telling Mari, but didn't have to announce it to everyone else. Did he need to write an apology to Cheyenne? Could he just keep it to himself?
He sat at the Ravenclaw table, where he'd have a good view of the Gryffindors, but didn't see Mari anywhere. He sighed to himself and began to fill a plate with the least-odd of the British lunch offerings. He missed home already.

Mari didn't have any trouble finding his dark friend in the Great Hall when he finally made his way down. He hadn't seen Indigo in the common room and he didn't see him at the Gryffindor table, either, but he didn't intend to hunt the guy down, anyway. A smile spread across his lips as he took a seat next to Castiel.
"Don't look so down, Kurai-Kun," he teased. Yes, he was in a good mood, because even if Indigo had disappeared, he'd still gotten to kiss the guy for who knew how long. He grabbed a plate and started filling it up, more than willing to try some of the various strange looking British foods offered.

"Kawaii-Kun!" Castiel dropped his fork and turned to wrap his arms tightly around Marius. "I missed you!" Now he was home, just a little. He still felt bad, but just being with Mari could make him feel a hundred times better. Mari was the light to his darkness, and he was the yin to Mari's yang. He pressed a firm kiss to Mari's cheek and might have gone on showing his appreciation if he hadn't caught himself.

Mari laughed and paused in the neverending hunt for food to return the tight hug. "I missed you, too," he said. Somehow, he felt that Castiel had missed him more, though. Could he really blame himself, though, considering what had happened last night? "How was your night?" he asked brightly. He hadn't had much sleep but he really couldn't help being in a good mood.

Castiel made a face, but didn't immediately answer beyond pulling away. He might have said lonely, but that wasn't exactly true, was it? "Dark," he said. He reached for his fork again and poked at his food. "I miss Cheyenne, that's all." And he missed having Marius in the same room at night, and he missed his favorite foods, and he missed warmth.

Mari looked over at Castiel and leaned in to kiss his cheek lightly. "I'm sorry. You'll get to see her at the end of the year, and you can send her letters and stuff," he said. Or maybe they wouldn't make it, he'd heard horror stories of people trying to do long distance relationships. He wouldn't voice that possibility, though. Instead, he grinned and nudged his friend. "Maybe she'll send you another picture."

Castiel shrugged, resisting the good mood his friend was giving off, though that kiss had soothed him a bit. "You're in a good mood," he said, looking aside at Marius. The guy was usually in a good mood, but he seemed especially bouncy this morning. Or maybe he was just still excited to be here. Or maybe he just seemed more excited because Castiel was slowly rotting inside.

"Yep," Mari said, grinning and picking up his fork. "I definitely kissed someone last night." He glanced around, but the table around them was relatively empty, though the hall itself was loud enough to hide anything said. Still, he dropped his voice a little. "It might have been someone who's got a picture in a magazine." Though he wouldn't spread it around, he couldn't not tell Castiel.

Castiel's eyes widened, and he forgot his own misery long enough to decide if he believed that. "You're kidding!" he hissed. It had to be Indigo, didn't it? But Indigo was straight, he'd been all goofy over the Head Girl, hadn't he? "You did not turn Indigo Noble bi!" Well, he supposed that if anyone could do it, Marius could.

Mari took his sweet time with a bite of potato before answering. "Well, we were talking...and he showed me his belly button piercing...and his tongue piercing...then we sat by the fireplace. Then he stood up saying he should go to bed and I kissed him," he said, unable to retain his smile. The bits he left out weren't important to the story, Castiel got all the good information.

Castiel's eyes were perma-wide by this point. Indigo Noble was bi! And Marius had kissed him! "Did he kiss you back?" That was an important distinction. If the guy had been showing off belly button piercings and tongue piercings by the fire, then it sounded like he'd invited it, and Marius seemed awfully excited, but Castiel wanted confirmation.

"Yep. And he touched me here...and here..." Mari's hand brushed over his torso before moving up to sink into his hair. "We were interrupted by a cat, though, and he said he needed time to think, so don't, like, spread it around or anything, okay?" Even with the bit of caution he spoke he couldn't help but wiggle a bit in his seat to get some of his energy out. He was definitely going to crash later in the day.

Castiel made a zipping motion over his mouth and shook his head. There was no way he'd be telling anyone, even if he had someone to tell. He'd even pretend he didn't know if he ran into Indigo, which at the moment he was hoping he wouldn't. That would make it a lot easier.
Castiel was silent a moment before blurting out, "I kissed someone, too."

Mari's eyes widened in disbelief and he stopped short of taking another bite of some unidentifiable something. "You're kidding!" he said. "What about Cheyenne? What happened?" He hadn't expected to hear that news today when he's woken up, though he couldn't help but see the oddity that they'd both gotten action the night before.

Castiel struggled with himself a moment, unwilling to tell Marius just why he'd gone walking, and unsure what to say about his girlfriend back home. "I left the Common Room after curfew to go look around and met this girl, and she told me about Hogwarts, and she asked me if I'd walk with her, and I teased her a little, I couldn't help it!" He gave Mari a look which said that yes, that tease had been flirting, and he knew it, and he'd known it then, too.
"So she said some things, and I said some things, and she said she'd like a dark little twist, and I kissed her!" And he was on his way into a panic over it, however nonchalant (he loved that word) he'd acted last night.
