Hyacinth was able to watch curiously when Jory floated, and after a time he'd forgotten his reservations again. The kitten, Remiel now, climbed across its lap as best she could, daring herself to make the leap onto the seat, then backing off, tiny tail aloft with interest.
As the adventure which was wizarding sweets wore to an end, Hyacinth pulled out a book which hadn't been on his list, but which he'd told he should read all the same. The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
"These are fairy tales for magic children?" he asked, more for confirmation than because he was unsure.

"Yeah," Jory said. "But one is supposedly real, more or less. The one with the Peverell brothers." He wasn't sure if he completely believed it, though the rumors of an unbeatable wand had survived for centuries. "They're really good, I like The Warlock's Hairy Heart most." It was gruesome and more than a little morbid, but he liked it.
