Evan had took Pansy by surprise, looking into Evans eyes and said, "your very welcome Evan, Im kind of glad you got yourself into this mess," she joked giggling. "Need any help with anything else? Just so you dont get lost again." Pansy said, she noticed Evan was still looking at her and she felt the blood run to her cheeks. Pansy grabbed Evans other hand and held it tightly.

Evan watched the blood run to Pansy's cheeks, it was such a wonderful sight. She forced her eyes to look down at the joined hands. What was going on? This feels soo weird, but soo right.. "There would be something you can do. If you dont mind that is?" Evans stomach growled, feeling embarrassed she asked, "Would you guide me to the Great Hall from here? Im a bit hungry" she giggled.

"Sure thing Evan," Pansy replied, "Im a bit peckish myself," squeezing Evans hands and holding them closer she said, "I know a short cut, come on its just down here." Pansy couldnt believe her luck, she walked backwards down the corridor pulling Evan with her laughing. She felt like a young teenager as if she was out on her first ever date, this is so weird she thought.

"Great" Evan said smiling back, she allowed Pansy to pull her down the corridor. They were like a pair of school girls giggling down the corridor. She watched as Pansy's hair glimmered in the setting sunlight, it looked almost natural for her, Evan couldnt picture her with any other colour of hair. "So how come I havent seen you around the few days Iv been here?" Evan was sure she would have caught a sight of Pansy, that hair is hard to miss and those eyes...

Pansy stopped outside a portrait of a large woman sitting on a stool painting on a canvas, a bowl of fruit. Her painting didnt look like what it was supposed to, she used blue for the bananas and purple for oranges. No one seemed to know why.. "Oh, I usually just keep myself to myself, Il stay in my dorm most of the time and sneak out to the kitchens at night if Im hungry." she smiled "Im not a social person," she laughed. "Demogoblin"

Evan was confused at this random word until she saw the woman in a portrait get of her stool and lifted the banana she was painting blue. The portrait swung forward revealing a dark and gloomy passage. "We are going in there?" Evan said with a bit of fear in her voice, she had had enough of dark places for today.

Pansy seen that Evan was scared about the passage. "Hey its okay Im here" she said reassuring Evan. "Come on youl be fine." Pansy let go of one of Evans hands and put her foot on the step into the passage. She smiled and jerked her head towards the portrait and waited to see if Evan was comfortable with it.

I will be fine Pansys here, Evan thought, she took a deep breath and looked at Pansy, she had to take another deep breath and squeezed Evans hand tighter, "Lead the way." Forcing a smile Evan placed her foot on the step and took out her wand, "Lumos, Im not taking any chances." she said and gave a more natural grin to Pansy.

Pansy pulled Evan into the passage, she took her own wand out and muttered, "Lumos" as the light brightened what was in front of her, the portrait slammed closed behind them. She felt Evan jump, Pansy squeezed her hand yo reassure her. "Its not a long passage, dont worry Evan." Pansy lead the way down a corridor then down a flight of stairs, if Evan stumbled she could catch her.

Pansy had let Evan no where to step on those narrow steps. She never let go of her hand either. Please let this end Evan thought. The light from their wands bellowed through the passage, it illuminated the walls they were dark stoney and rough to rub against. This was very unpleasant. Even shuddered at every turn and every step, "Are we nearly there?" she asked.

Pansy used her wand to tap a brick on what looked like a dead end. A few bricks began to move away from each other to form a small archway, light began to shine through the holes the moving bricks were leaving. "We're here" Pansy said turning to smile at Evan. "Come on, quick before someone sees us!" Pansy let go of Evans hand and stepped out of the passage looking down the corridor each way to make sure no one was there. "Coast is clear" she said, she stored her wand into her cloak and held out her hands to help Evan out.

Phew Evan thought, she held out her arms and dropped down into Pansy's arms. As soon as she had left the passage the bricks started moving back into their original position. "Wow, I think it would have been quicker to just go to the Great Hall the normal way" Evan laughed, still watching the bricks until they stopped she realized that she was still in Pansy's arms. Hmm she thought Evan didnt want to move but she knew she had to, "Em what about that food?" Evan turned herself around to face Pansy, she bit her lip, "Come on you!" she said pulling Pansy down the corridor.

"That was actually a lot quicker, it just seemed longer," she replied. Pansy groaned, she hadnt wanted to move from that position. She had looked into Evans eyes when she had turned around, they were so brown and deep. "Oh! If we must" Pansy said in a disappointed tone though she said it smiling. Pansy linked her arm into Evans, "Ok little test for you. Can you get us to the Great Hall from here? We are on the first floor just to give you a little help" she laughed. This was to see if Evan actually knew her way around, if not she wouldnt mind getting lost with her.

Evan giggled, "I actually know where we are going." and she bent her arm for Pansy's to slip in. She noticed Pansy's annoyance when she had moved, I wonder if shes feeling the same way? Evan thought. She lead the way down the corridor and turned right, this brought them to the Grand Stair case, Evan turned and cheekily grinned to Pansy as she had went the right way. "Told you so Pansy!" sticking her tongue out she shook her arm from Pansy's and began running down the stairs, "Race you!!" as she laughed taking two steps at a time.

Pansy was soo shocked at Evans random outburst she just laughed, "oh your on!!" Pansy started sprinting down the stairs, being quite athletic she was taking three steps at time and caught up with Evan easily. "Haha you wont beat me Evan!" she laughed, but then she thought she might let her win, just to see what would happen. They raced to the main doors of the Great Hall and Pansy slowed down just a little..
