Lost??...

[Evan Rachel Woods]

Evan had spent the end of her day finishing of her tour of the school. She had thought she had mastered the main corridors and had a general idea of where to go. Taking in all of the weird paintings and statues around the school she decided to head back.. where to she didnt know. Maybe she would go to the Great Hall for a bite to eat, as she hadnt eaten all day and her stomach was beginning to growl...
Evan guessed that she was on the 7th corridor and that she needed to head down the next left corridor to head back to the staircase. She walked up still looking at the moving portraits, and turned left. It was quite dark down this corridor but she was sure this was the way. Getting to the end of the corridor she could only go right and that corridor was just as dark. It has to be the right way, she thought.
She took out her wand and muttered Lumos, a bright glow at the end of her wand lit up the corridor. It was still dark and she got an eerie feeling.
No, Im going back, making a 180 degree turn, Evan ran down the corridor she had just came down. She turned right at the next corridor, Oh no! Evan felt a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, where the heck am I? I cant have gotten lost turning down two corridors?.. Could i??
Evan prayed some one would find her or she bumped into someone...

Pansy was wandering around the school, she was bored and had a lot of things to consider with all that had happened... Knowing the school like the back of her hand Pansy knew she was on a corridor of the 7th floor main link, walking straight past two corridors a glimpse of light caught the corner of her eye. What the hell? She thought, nobody goes down that way.. Drawing out her wand, Pansy muttered "Lumos" a bright white light bellowed from the tip of her wand. This corridor was so dark that the spell only lit up the few feet in from of her. Hearing scuttling noises and little noises, Pansy walked down the corridor, wand drawn encase it was a trap. She seen that the other light had stopped moving and was growing dim. The only thing that she could think of doing was to call out, "Hello??"...

Evan had given up running around and had leaned against the nearest wall and slid down to sit on the floor. Suddenly, she heard a faint hello. Her prayers were answered. Spotting the bright light, Evan rose to her feet as quick as she could and ran towards the light. Forgetting to stop Evan banged right into the person knocking them right over. Ouch! she thought, "Im so sorry!" But Evan couldnt get herself of the other person.

Pansy realized she was lying on her back, what in the name of all thats holy just happened. Trying to regain her breath that the girl knocked out of her, Pansy said, "Its okay, but do you mind?" Helping to push the girl off her, Pansy sat on the ground and breathed deeply. This is some luck she was getting today.

Evan helped the girl to lift her up. Listing to the girls breathing, Evan felt bad for charging at her. It wasnt going to be the end of the world, she would have found a way out...eventually.. "Im really sorry." She said again, Evan couldnt have apologized more.

"Hey its fine." Pansy said smiling. There was really no point in smiling as this corridor was pitch black. I wonder what she was doing down here anyway? Pansy stumbled to her feet whilst fumbling around for her wand that had flew out of her hand when the girl fell on her. Finding her wand, Pansy muttered "Lumos" again for the bright light and turned to face the girl. She had never seen her before in the school. Ah this must be the new girl. Her gingerish hair caught the light of the spell and shocked Pansy. She took the girls features in, there was something attractive about this girl. Smiling brightly, something Pansy didnt often do, she said to the girl, "Here, let me help." and she raised out her hand to help the girl that was still on the floor, up.

The bright light burned Evans' eyes, blinking them quickly to get them back to normal. Looking up at the girl her bright green hair and her piercing bright green eyes took Evan by surprise, they were so breathtaking. The girl was quiet attractive but she had the look of someone not to mess with. Returning the bright smile from the girl, Evan took the girls hand and pulled herself up. The girl was quite strong as she barely moved with the weight of Evan on her arm.

Pansy pulled the girl to her feet, she was surprisingly light. The girl allowed Pansy to hold her hand a little longer than what she had expected. Grinning to the girl she said, "Come on, I'll get you out of here." Pansy led the way out of the corridor still holding the girls hand lightly. "By the way my names Pansy, whats yours?"

Evan didnt even notice that she never pulled her hand from the girls after she helped her up. Something was telling her to keep it there. Evan allowed Pansy to led her out of the corridor, this place was disturbing her. "Evan, I'm Evan." she replied smiling. Evan watched Pansy's green her bounce around her shoulders, it was such an unusual colour but it really suited Pansy especially with those wow green eyes she thought.

"Thats a nice name Evan" Pansy said turning her head to look at her. She saw from the little light that was coming from her wand that Evan was smiling, least shes not scared. "Just a few more turns and we shall be out of this darkness. What were you doing down here anyway?" Pansy said turning her head back to normal to make sure she was going the right way.

"Thank goodness for that. This place is giving me the creeps." Evan shuddered. She tightened her grip on Pansys hand and said, "I was exploring," she laughed, "I thought I knew where I was going. It was a sort of test to myself to see of I knew my way around the castle." Evan felt kind of embarrassed that her cockiness got her lost. She held onto Pansys hand as she was pulled down different corridors. "How do you know where we are going?" Evan asked.

Pansy felt Evans grip tighten, wow she thought, this doesnt feel weird at all. Pansy laughed, "You will need a few years and a load of time on your hands to be able to know your way around this school. Its always changing, but if you want I can help you out a bit so you can remember where to go?" grinned Pansy, she was already trying to set up another meeting with this girl! "I know where Im going because I was one of those people with a lot of time." she laughed loudly, it echoed through the empty corridors.

"Yes please!" Evan replied excitedly. "I do need quite a bit of help" she laughed given the situation she was in. She felt at ease around this girl, there was something about her... "I take it you were one of those girls who mitched classes from time to time?" Evan replied laughing, she had done it a few times herself when she wasnt in the mood for some people..or teachers.

She said yes! She actually wants to see me again! Oh come on Pansy stop this! Pansys conscience was talking to her, Evan may have said yes but she is new and wants help, but if is just help she wants why hasnt she let go of my hand? These questions swam through her mind, what is wrong with me?! Pansy thought. "Sure not a problem, just let me know when." Pansy smiled back at Evan, "yes I did mitch a few classes, but I caught up with the work and got to know my way around." she walked down the next corridor where Pansy was wandering before, "Here we are, day light."

Hmm a bad girl Evan giggled to herself, there seems to be some sort of spark between the two girls and Evan liked it, "Gosh happy days." she was grinning from ear to ear that she got out. "that was like hell to me." Evan joked, she stopped and faced Pansy, "Thank you so much Pansy" Evan said looking into Pansy piercing green eyes.
