Storm had nothing against Emilian. Their last conversations were pleasant and yes while there was some 'action' in the past that had come to a quick end. Storm hadn't heard much about Emilian. The last she knew was that he was happy with Adara. Walking up to the door, she knocked lightly on it, praying she wasn't interrupting something.
It was barely into the evening, the sun was starting to set and the weather was only getting cooler. The silent wind that swept through Hogsmead tasseled her hair and she pulled her cloak closer around her body. Storm would give it another minute, if no one answered she would leave. Coming here was hard itself, but having to face Emilian, she prayed his reaction wasn't as negative as the one she imagines.

Emilian hadn't been expecting anyone, but he was closing up anyway, and it could have been that kid Jory, and he wasn't about to just ignore the knocking. The last thing he expected...well, okay, maybe not the last. The last probably would have been Michael, or maybe Adara. But he still didn't expect to see Storm standing there. He stared in blank silence for a few long moments as his mind tried to process the arrival.
He didn't look as bad as he had after the breakup, but he was notably changed since, if only in his actions and the way he held himself. And maybe there could have been a few silver hairs, not that they could be seen with any spells he would have used to cover them up, if they were there in the first place. Which they weren't.
He had a goatee and he had given up trying to cover up the scar that dominated his face, though he kept his scarred hand to himself as much as possible. Not that Storm probably even cared that he had them. He wasn't sure if he should be happy or pissed off at her showing up at his doorstep.
"What brings you to Hogsmeade?" he asked after a few long moments of silence.

Storm was about to leave, to turn around and just walk away, but the opening of the door kept her rooted to her spot. A blink, followed by another; this was not the same Emilian as before. He wasn't the same boyish Emilian anymore his whole appearance had changed.
With the life she led, she was now more used to being put on the spot, only this time she had set herself up for it. Taking a deep breath, she tugged her cloak tighter around her frame, keeping herself warm. "I had matters to attend to and thought I would drop by." if she wasn't welcome, he could turn her away and she would move on. Storm was not expecting hugs, kisses and a warm welcome. If anything, this was a step up from what she was really expecting.

Emilian eyed Storm for another moment before stepping back and gesturing for her to come in. He kept his hand on the knob to close the door behind her. "So been off upping the notches on your bedpost?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her. No, she wasn't that bad, but she was notorious for the couple of escapades she had had. "Read about me in the paper and come to see if it's true?" It was entirely different meeting up with someone that had known him before Adara.

Walking graciously into the living room, she folded her hands gently walking to the couch and turning to look at him, waiting for him to join her. It would be rude to just sit down. "It's been a while." there was no point in asking how he was, it was obvious by how he looked that there was something off, but she wasn't sure what it was. Storm looked around half expecting the shy Adara to show up, but the house sounded empty.
Storm was not surprised about what he said, she had quite the reputation. "As much as I hate to disappoint, no there have been no new notches at all." Storm had lived a life of near solitude. The only other human contacts she had were business partners and the occasional acquaintances she had known from her younger years, but the last time she had been with someone was back in Hogwarts.
Storm was slightly taken aback by his comment. Well she wasn't surprised he would be in the paper, but his comment threw her off. "See if it's true? I never knew visiting someone meant trying to dig up gossip." she wasn't going to attempt to hide the confusion.

Emilian shut the door to the stairs and walked slowly into the room. "I get a lot of people in here wanting to catch a look at the expelled, accused rapist that dueled the new headmaster and broke the head girl's heart," he said as he headed to his cabinet. He had taken to drinking, though he was doing a lot better than right after the breakup. He supposed he had just learned how much to handle. "Want some?" he asked as he gestured for her to sit.

Storm sat down slowly, watching as Emilian walked towards the cabinet, barely catching the last part of his sentence. "I was around for the first too, I'm sure you remember my visit to the Hospital Wing." which had proven to be very hard for her then, but she tried not to think about it. "I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand. I though you and Adara had been engaged." in fact she expected to come back and find them already married. Now that she thought about it, Storm was watching him more closely. It explained his more rugged look and it in fact made her turn away to look down at her lap. "I suppose after isolating yourself from everyone, you shouldn't expect everything to be the same." what was next, him and Chase were best friends. She highly doubted that, but it would have been funny if it were true.

Emilian snorted and shrugged as he poured a hefty glass. "We were," he said. "Then she found me in bed with another man. I mean, it wasn't the first time, but still. Of course, I think that just that I was only ever with two people since we got together is an accomplishment." He draped himself across the arms of one of his chairs. One leg dangled off the arm while the other stretched out across the floor and he rested his head against the high back. "Don't you think?" Storm was the one that had bet he couldn't go a week without sex, anyway.

What surprised Storm was that Emilian wasn't with Adara anymore, not the reason why they broke up. She remembered how close they were, how ready he was to spend the rest of his life with Adara. She could remember the many mutters in the common room, depressed fangirls because their object of affection was no longer single. "I'm sorry to hear that." she wasn't sure what to say about it, she was sorry if anything Storm believed that it was one of the few couples that would last, but alas she knew that all good things came to an end.
Leaning forward, she kept her eye on him, silently. Deep down inside, he was probably the same Emilian as before and that idea brought back a sense of nostalgia. "Quite the accomplishment." She knew very well how much he loved sex and the prospect of Emilian being with one women for such a long time was... impressive. But still, she felt for Adara, the struggles to be with Emilian and in the end here he sat before her proud that he had only cheated with one person. She averted her gaze, not wanting to look at the person that she had once shared a very intimate moment with. Storm wondered, how things would have been like if she stayed.

Emilian shook his head and took a sip from his too-full glass. If it burned, he didn't give much more sign than a slight grimace. "Yeah." He still thought about Adara, but he refused to think about the feelings, if there were any, that he still had for her. "So are you catching up with all your old acquaintances, or am I just that special?" he asked, firmly changing the subject, at least for now.

Storm watched him drink, he had turned to heavy amounts of alcohol; was it really all because of Adara. while he didn't physically look like he was at his best, he didn't seem to display it through his words, but the change of subject was enough to let her know that he was still hurting.
Staring down at her own drink, she picked it up placing it up to her lips allowing the smell to fill her nose and then taking a quick sip. It did burn, but she enjoyed the taste of hard liquor. She moved her hand down, balancing the glass in one hand. "I haven't been here long enough to catch up, I suppose you can consider yourself special enough to be the first person I've visited." but she knew that there was at least one other she was considering on seeing. Taking another sip, she allowed the alcohol t slide smoothly down throat, she could feel as it passed down her throat the burning sensation making her shut her eyes momentarily. "Besides, I'm sure people are happy to have me out of their lives." every person she had come close to, she ended up making their life a thousand times harder, she doubted that people wanted her back.

"I don't know, you kept the place interesting," Emilian said, shrugging absently. He hadn't minded her at all really, not that he remembered. "And I do feel special." He gave a lopsided smirk and a mock toast before taking another drink. He wondered absently how hard it would be to convince her to head to the bed with him.

Storm laughed at his use of the term 'interesting'. "Too bad, it was at the expense of my own sanity at some points." it was no secret that Storm had at some point started to pull away from people, growing cold, distant and some what mentally unstable. Before tipping her drink into her mouth, she surveyed him over the glass, lips pressed lightly against the glass. Then taking a larger sip than before she placed it down, it burned more so than before, but it was a feeling she liked.
Storm never felt uncomfortable around Emilian, it was probably the reason why she came to him first. Shrugging off her cloak, she placed it on her lap, the low v-neck top she wore and the simple dark jeans stark against her pale skin. "I wonder how Hogwarts has been since."she mused.

Emilian shrugged again. "I've only been once since I got kicked out, and that was only because I could wear a mask. I know another few kids followed Dare and Michael...they're living up there, now." He at least knew some of what happened up there from the gossip of the people that came through his shop. He let his eyes wander absently over Storm's now revealed body.

Her lips were in a small 'oh' shape. Since when did Dare and Michael move up there, the better question was why. Was she missing out on something? The only reason she had heard about Chases promotion was because so many had talked about it, someone so young becoming a headmaster was bound to be talked about in the U.K, but she had no idea why Michael and Dare lived there. She knew Dare had been a student, but wasn't Michael done? There was a small amount of confusion on her face, but she didn't care to make this confusion verbal. Instead she watched Emilian, eyes slightly out of focus. As she spoke it was obvious her mind wasn't completely there. "How much has changed since I've been gone?" she said aloud. Storm snapped back into reality, eyes now focused on his face.
