Storm smiled brightly and shook her head, some things never change. "As tempting as your offer sounds, I think I'm going to have pass this one too." maybe a very long time ago, when she was an emotional wreck she would have said yes and jumped to the opportunity to have 'fun', but she wasn't like that anymore, after all the men she had done business with and how many 'special' business offers they made, Storm had learned to quickly turn them down.

Emilian shrugged and tipped his glass toward her. "You can't blame me for asking," he said. It would have been a nice meeting after so long, but he wasn't going to hold it against her or anything. He could always get someone else in his bed. It was rare anymore that he went more than a couple of days without someone in his bed. "You're not getting married or something, are you?"

Storm wasn't surprised when he did, and of course she really couldn't blame him for asking, he would always be a sex fiend. Chuckling, she mentally shook her head... yes Emilian never changed. However, his question made her raise a brow skeptically. Raising both hands to show that she had not engagement ring, she shook her head and sighed. "Fortunately, no I'm not." she was still surprised that she remained single, most girls once out of school were married off to some rich older man. "Father believes that if he keeps quiet, I'll eventually get bored and want to get married, and mother dearest is no longer around much." Storm believed her mom to be locked away in Azkaban or Mungo's, but something in her gut told her that her mom was relaxing somewhere in the world with a glass of fine wine and a bunch of elves running around her terrified out of their wits.
In reality, Storm hadn't found anyone worth marrying, all the men she did business with were either too old or their sons were too stupid for her to be around. Of course, this meant she had to sit with a man during business talks with his son close by obviously undressing her with their perverted eyes. It was definitely fun being a lady.

"Good," Emilian said, nodding his approval. "Too many people are getting married or doing the whole settling down thing." Ignoring the fact that he had been one of those not too very long ago, and the fact that it was really only a few couples, it was rather annoying. Sure, he would probably end up joining their ranks eventually, it wasn't something he had much choice in. But seeing as he had already thoroughly ruined his reputation, he didn't see being pushed into it any time soon, if only for lack of viable options.

Storm didn't comment on the fact that not long ago, he was well on his way to a life of monogamy. Instead, she kept silent and watched him. It was evident in her eyes what she was thinking. "Of course, for me it could change any day. My father could put his foot down and force me into a marriage." She was surprised he hadn't done it yet. Her mother definitely would, but her mother hadn't found the perfect man yet. "Whats funny is my mother had thought you could have been a great potential suitor." Yes, Storm had sex with Emilian once, but that was it. It meant nothing more than two people of the opposite gender who were sexually frustrated. One thing led to another and it just happened.
Storm then remembered her mother mentioned Chase at one point, bringing him lightly into conversation and she knew instantly what her mother meant. Storm had politely excused herself and fled the scene not wanted to talk about such a subject.
Chase... the name rang in her head and she could feel her heart race a bit faster. Thinking about him always had an odd effect on her. Running a hand through her hair, she tried to look as composed as possible, but the long silence that came from her and her slightly flushed cheeks pointed out that there was something in mind. Of course... she could always just blame it on the alcohol.

Emilian snorted at that. "Oh yeah, I'm a wonderful marriage prospect. What with the whole raping your friend and all." That was certainly something he hadn't even thought about in a long time. He knew that it was still in the backs of some people's minds, but a lot of people seemed to be unaware of it or think it was just a rumor, like Jory.

Storms knew her mother was oblivious to what Emilian had done, of course Storm didn't know how to react to what he did. If anything her anger at first faded away, and she was ultimately unable to deal with how she felt towards what he did to Vannah. "What's past is past." she didn't want to have to think about it again. It was a confusing time...
Storm wracked through her brain, there had been so much going on when she was here it was a wonder how people stayed on top of it all. There were people out there who knew about their own business better than the people involved themselves. The gossip column had contributed so much and added to that confusion, she was somewhat happy she left Hogwarts for a bit.
