Lyric almost hadn't been able to get what he'd wanted. Jory had come into the bathroom with him, and he'd had to claim a stall to get out of his sight. And he'd had to hurry. Luckily there had been enough noise from the festival that he hadn't had to worry about unzipping his bag or going through his things, but he'd still been hard-pressed to make eye contact when he'd come out.
He was still in the grace period right now. There had been no signs of change in the past fifteen minutes, so maybe Jory would forget they'd ever stopped. He just had to hold out another fifteen and everything would be right. For now, as they approached the music, he tried to brace himself.

Jory had been pushing himself away from thoughts of Jamie and gradually getting more excited as they got closer. He was going to get to dance. With Lyric. He couldn't believe this was happening. It was completely opposite of what it had been when they had been together. "So, are you okay with being touched now?" he asked, though it felt like a stupid question when Lyric had kissed him just a few minutes before.

Lyric looked aside and down at Jory. "Sometimes," he said. His gaze moved forward again. It was bizarre talking about it at all, even after the questions Mano had tried to ask him, but his mood was up. He'd be rolling soon and then everything would be perfect. His eyes sparked and narrowed imperceptibly. "It's easier with you," he said, hoping the words were what Jory wanted to hear and ignoring whether or not they were true. "I just needed to get used to it." Mano might have told him that or he might have thought it up himself, he wasn't entirely sure.

Jory smiled and took Lyric's hand in response to find a way through the crowd. "Good, come on," he said. He had never done this, he had never really danced with someone, not as dance partners. It wasn't perfect, but at least he didn't feel like he had to be scared to touch Lyric. "Don't laugh at me if I'm too bad at this."

Lyric's hands were not among the areas that Mano had focused on and it was hard to think about anything else right now, but he didn't let himself pull away. This was what Jory wanted. Jory was happy, and somehow it was because of him. He didn't entirely understand, but he wouldn't argue it. He just wanted it to keep happening. It would start soon, he knew it would.
The crowd was tight, and the tension building in him had to be visible, but he reminded himself of the little pill he'd taken. He promised not to laugh, but he was thinking soon... soon... soon... Then it hit, and a rush of happiness swept through him. His shy smile returned as he looked at Jory and started to dance.

Jory turned to face Lyric and started to move. He tried not to think about how bad he was or be too aware of how unused to it he was. He wanted to dance with Lyric, wanted to dance with someone, he wanted to know what it was like. It would be fun, as long as he didn't stumble or step on Lyric's feet or something. His hand slipped from Lyric's only to move up his arm to his shoulder.

Lyric wanted to touch now. He knew how good it would feel, and so he caught Jory by the waist, then moved to stand behind him. With their bodies pressed together, one hand could ride low on Jory's abdomen as the other caught lightly at Jory's hand. He moved their hips together to show him how to do it and raised his arm up, showing him the motions.

Jory followed Lyric's lead, smiling broadly from the contact and the fact that it was okay to do it. One hand reached down to catch at Lyric's against his stomach, moving it enough so that it didn't touch his new piercing. "Careful, I got my belly button pierced, it's still kind of sore," he said, turning his head back so that Lyric could hear him. It was so much better than it had been, but it would still get caught on fabric.

Lyric's eyes were wide, and they glittered with hearing that. He leaned over Jory's shoulder and the hand against him moved, catching at the cloth of his shirt to tug upward. He wanted to see, even from upside-down. "I like it," he said. He wanted to touch it, but Jory had said it was sore. he watched instead as they moved and it moved with them.

Jory reached his high hand back to play lightly at Lyric's hair. He loved being able to touch so easily. "Thanks, I want my tongue or eyebrow next." The dance floor wasn't the best place for talking, but Jory saw no reason not to as long as they could hear each other. He slipped his hand over Lyric's again and looked down at his exposed skin.

This felt so good that Lyric almost forgot to speak. "The eyebrow isn't so bad, but a lot of people give up on the tongue," he said. "But when your tongue's pierced, you can do this..." He pulled his between his teeth for a moment to show off. He'd never had trouble with his, but he'd been lucky with every bit of body modification he had.

Jory grinned and nodded. "Yeah." He had heard something about vibrating tongue rings, and glow in the dark ones, just about everything imaginable. "I don't know which one I want first, I want both of them, plus a few more." He didn't know what he would do after he finished out his list, but there was a literally endless supply of piercings he could choose from.

Lyric remembered that Jory was into piercings, so it wasn't a surprise. That was something from before he'd gotten so heavy into things, and apparently it had been interesting enough not to forget. He almost told Jory to get his eyebrow done first, but he was easily distracted by the thought of why. If Jory was going to let him kiss him, then he didn't want to wait for swelling and tenderness to go away. That thought was enough to bring his lips down to the edge of Jory's jaw where it met his neck.

Jory's eyes closed and he let out a low mmm at the feel of Lyric's lips against him. He moved his hand back behind Lyric's neck. There was a passing thought that he shouldn't be doing this, not when he had just found out about Jamie, but it was only a passing thought, and Jory didn't dwell on it for more than a second or two. Besides, nothing had been said about a relationship, as long as it felt good it was okay, right? He hadn't wanted a relationship, anyway. He could convince himself of that.

It was so easy to get lost and forget where they were. His mind was full of nothing but happiness and pleasure. This all felt so good that he just went on, letting his hands move and letting himself feel. Even the littlest things were driving him crazy, the light brush of Jory's hair against his cheek, the shift of clothes as they moved, and he couldn't get enough.
