Brace Yourself (Lyric/Jory)

Jory hadn't thought that dancing could be like this, and with Lyric. It was so great being touched by Lyric, and being able to touch him. He smiled and brought his eyes up to see Lyric, then took a kiss. He found himself thinking ahead to the possibility of going somewhere different where they could be alone, even if that wasn't something that wasn't a guarantee. It was impossible to guess where things would go when he was with Lyric.

Lyric had no thoughts. He returned Jory's kiss, but before long he wanted more and even in his current state he knew better than to try it on the dance floor. He ended in loosely catching Jory's hand and tugging lightly. He wanted to go somewhere else and take as much as he could while his blood still hummed and everything felt so good.

Jory went with Lyric eagerly, though he still couldn't be certain how it was all going to end. He wasn't really thinking much further in the future than what was going on right then, and maybe the next couple of steps, anyway. Had he known what Lyric had done and intended to do, however, he might not have been so eager to follow. "Where to next?" he asked as he followed.

"Somewhere we can be alone," Lyric said, moving half a step ahead of Jory so that his eyes wouldn't be visible. Not that Jory had ever recognized it before, but he didn't want to screw this up. He just wanted to be with Jory right now, when it felt like they were so close they could be soulmates.

Jory grinned, those words sending his mind reeling with thoughts. He probably should have thought about jumping into this, but he wasn't good at thinking before acting, especially when it came to things like this. "That sounds good," he said, letting his eyes move over Lyric for the first time in months. Right now, he was up for just about anything.
