Jamie had heard of Los Angeles in a muggle movie his sister had convinced him to watch with her. He couldn’t quite remember the name. Pretty…in Pink? No, that wasn’t it. Pretty…Woman! That was it. Pretty Woman. All he knew about Los Angeles was that it was supposed to be a glamorous place and filled with famous muggles. Jamie listened and nodded tentatively. He couldn’t imagine only seeing his family a couple of times a year for so long. “Do you miss it?” Jamie asked softly.

Celyn grew silent lost in memory lane. The feel of the sun, the summer breeze that blew tresses of hair back and into her face, the ticklish sensation she felt on her nose. Celyn was snapped back into reality. If James stayed quiet and left she wouldn't have felt it. "I do, but it's not like I'll never see the place again." she paused. "Do you have a place like that?" morbid curiosity was something she hid well.

Jamie paused for a moment. "Sometimes I miss being home." He missed how hectic his house got, especially when the entire family was home at the same time. He missed his siblings, but at the same time it terrified him how fast his little sisters and brothers were growing up. "But it's not too far away." He could go home and come back as he pleased, if he was allowed to. But then it would force him to face all the reasons he didn't want to go back. Being the peacekeeper between those fighting and those trying to stay out of it was a full time job.

Her lips twisted up into a small smile; she did miss home too. It was so odd having to go to a school isolated from society. It had been six years and she still wasn't completely used to it. "Home always get's weird for me. Magical parents raising their kids with magic and muggle ways." [/color] Celyn hated how there were wizards who 'tried' to blend in but failed. It sucked that she could recognize they were wizards and ended up helping a lot of them try to blend in. ]"But you know the idea of home hasn't really struck me as just 'family' I think it's wherever you feel comfortable."[/blockquote]

"Good point." Jamie said after a moment's thought. At this point he had completely forgotten about going to the Room of Requirement, not that he would decline to do so now anyways. He enjoyed the conversation they were having, even if it did hit home, so to speak. "You sound like you've put a lot of thought into this." Jamie observed tilting his head to the side.
