Celyn grinned broadly. Her brow raised and her memory with Trent was stronger. Pretending to be mythical creatures, jumping around a bed, screaming at the top of their lungs. It was something she would do again and again. "You need someone more familiar with the room. I've known about it since third year, but haven't actually seen it in action till last year." and that one time she was able to get it, she left minutes after anyways. "But, I think I have it's location down." was she basically offering to show him the way? If that's what he expected then she sure as hell didn't mind. The guy was definitely good looking and since she had a policy of just going with the flow, why the hell not show a completely good looking stranger to a room thought to be just a myth.

Jamie's eyes narrowed with interest. His eyes swept over her face. It seemed like a genuine offer and not just a well-I-guess-since-I-brought-it-up-I-guess-I-have-to-show-you kind of offer. "That would be great." Jamie said enthusiastically. "Are you sure you wouldn't mind?" He asked anyways. Looks can be deceiving, he's learned that much in his time at Hogwarts.

His enthusiasm was a good sign. He seemed like a nice enough guy. "If I had more important things to do. I wouldn't be in the greenhouse," she joked. "Not that showing someone the Room of Requirements isn't important. I think it beats out studying by a landslide." she hated studying. Pretty much everything trumped studying. Unless they were in some alternate dimension where she was a typical Ravenclaw; Celyn was never going to study.

Jamie laughed. "I thought you guys were supposed love studying, especially around O.W.Ls and N.E.W.T.s." Jamie joked, eyeing the blue patch on her robes. He wasn't exactly the stereotypical Slytherin either. He didn't enjoy terrorizing people for no good reason and he definitely walked around with too many flaws to have his nose stuck high in the air.

Celyn followed the trail of his eyes to his robe and she glared at the pin. "Yeah, sorry, if you want study advice or tutoring I'm the last person to go to," she was teasing, but still serious. "I'm happy with my A's." she was probably the worst Ravenclaw. What the hell as wrong with the sorting hat. It must have mucked up or something when sorting her. That, or she just didn't fit in the other houses so they dumped in the last option which was Ravenclaw.
Celyn eyed his robes. Slytherin she wanted to smirk, but suppressed it. "I thought you were supposed to be bullying my kind and telling us how much we waste our time on our crappy little books." well, in general, it was how she felt. That the school was composed of a bunch of Ravenclaws who were to busy having a book stuck under their noses that they didn't read that everything they needed learn was around them.

Jamie smirked and took a step closer. "You waste your time on your crappy little voice." He said, mimicking a snobby Slytherin voice. "Is that better?" He asked in his normal, deep voice. He knew she was teasing, but it was still fun to play. He definitely wasn't the model Slytherin. He didn't shove innocent kids into the wall or pick on beautiful girls. He wasn't arrogant, or at least he tried not to be although sometimes it got the best of him. His family was pureblood, but they didn't always act like it.

That was sounding a lot like a Slytherin. "That was ideal." she bit her lower lip in an attempt to look the part of the victim, but she was so horrible that her facade fell apart instantly and she was back to her teasing self. "Except, you forgot to mention," she mimicked his step forward, even if he was taller than she was she wasn't intimidated. Her brow rose challenging him. "My 'crappy' little voice can work wonders on worthless little minds. Wanna try your luck?" she wasn't sure if Slytherins were stereotyped as the dumb ones, or easily manipulated, but in general they weren't that bright. Just a bunch of snobs who slacked off and claimed their rich daddy would deal with their future by giving them inheritance money or something of that sort. Celyn was a pureblood, but her father earned his wealth by working. Not having it passed down.

Jamie took a deep breath in to prepare for this next part. "You're crappy little--" Jamie started, but his mock Slytherin voice cracked. Jamie started to laugh. "It takes a lot of energy being a model Slytherin, you know. I don't think I can handle it." He joked, although it was true. He wasn't quick enough with his come-backs or retorts. "I'm so sorry to disappoint you." Jamie teased, still laughing a little. It was nice to joke and laugh with someone.

Celyn laughed along with him. "It's alright, I'm sorry I'm such a horrible victim." She pushed a strand of hair away from her eyes grinning broadly. "Maybe we were both put in the wrong houses," Well she knew she was. "I can see you have the bad boy look down, but you're not---" She didn't have to complete her sentence he wasn't a bad boy. She didn't think so at least. Celyn wasn't sure if he would take that as just a statement or a compliment.[/blockquote]

"Shhhh." Jamie said bringing a finger up to his lips. "Don't let anyone around here hear you say that." He warned with a teasing smile. "After all, I have a reputation to uphold." Jamie added a wink at the end of that statement. As far as he knew, no one considered him to be a typical Slytherin or to possess any of the typical Slytherin traits. "What house should you have been put in?" He asked her, tilting his head to the side curiously.

"Oh yes I forgot. reputation is key." her reputation was the idiot of a Ravenclaw back at her house, nothing to uphold there.
His question made her purse her lips in thought. If there was a house she should have been in what would it be? Gryffindor? She wasn't the type to shy away from speaking up and saying whatever the hell she wanted, but she didn't have the strength and the bravery of a Gryffindor, just the boldness. Slytherin? Cunning, Maybe, ambitious, No way! And the whole purebloods are the best' didn't work for her. She was a pureblood, but one who spent a chunk-load of her life with muggles. Then there was Hufflepuff. She wasn't shy, never showed much loyalty to anyone because she never made friends. Celyn was in no way a Hufflepuff, that was probably the house that was a complete 180 degree of her. "I think Hogwarts should create a new house to accommodate me and those like me. Not that you'd find anyone as brilliant as I am, but it would be a house of only a small handful. It's name would be Corvus and it's animal would be a crow." she knew her last name meant crow so it sounded reasonable. "Making assumptions, I don't feel like you fit the criteria of a Slytherin. Care to share the 'other house' you would fit in." she was curious. Did he believe himself to be a Gryffindor? A Ravenclaw?[/blockquote]

Jamie grinned, he would have to agree with her. Although they've only just met he wouldn't be able to place her in any one house. He thought about which house he should be in, or rather he would prefer to be in. Each house had its flaws, but there were certainly qualities he possessed that could have put him in any house. Why he was put into Slytherin was beyond him. After thinking about it for a few minutes, his serious thoughtful expression softened into a smile. "Fitting in is overrated." He finally concluded. He didn't fit into any of the houses, as far as he could tell. It was probably for the better anyways.

The whole houses think was beyond her. Celyn still believed that the sorting hat was just bogus and the school shouldn't have to put them into houses. What happened to sorting based on year so that each year had a select different of students with different traits and personality. It was so boring having to sit in a common room with a bunch of kids who had nothing better to do than study. "I agree. If I was back in the states I so would have protested." but she wouldn't dare do something like that here, she was sure that she would straight away be kicked out here, back home she would at least have a small fighting chance.

((Sorry it's been a while))
Jamie tilted his head to the side. He assumed that by 'The States' she had meant the 'United States'. He wasn't too familiar with that part of the world, but he had some basic knowledge. "What part of the States are you from?" Jamie asked curiously. He had noticed her accent was different, and he had heard somewhere that American accents are different depending on where in the country you live, but he could never decipher where people were from based on their accents

Celyn missed the U.S. She missed the warm weather, the freedom, the people. People were cool here too, but there was such a contrast with here and there. They just went with the flow back home, here everything was so scheduled. Celyn knew she was making a generalization, but it was inevitable. "Los Angeles." the name being uttered made her tone lighter and nostalgia was setting in. "I was raised there until I turned 11 and I visit every Summer and every other Christmas with my family." while her friends from then and now were completely different, there was the occasional friend who she had known since elementary school.[/blockquote]
