Ivy certainly hadn't expected that, and she huffed before shooting water at him, along with the hope that it would be very cold water. Who in their right mind went around like that? The irony of that thought would never come to her, not when what she was doing was perfectly right in her mind.

The first blast of water against Dare almost overbalanced him, and he stumbled a moment before managing to catch himself. He worked persistently to get free of his jeans before they were too soaked, then kicked them aside, reveling in the feel of the water. It could only do so much, but he felt better, and he'd take as much as she'd give. He was too relieved to try pissing her off for the moment, and in truth, his mind was more on his makeshift shower than her. He let out a low sound of pained pleasure.

Ivy ignored the sound, though a comment could have easily come to her lips. She let it go on for a couple of minutes before she switched to a drying spell. Once he was dressed her duty to keep him at least semi-clean was done. "Happy now?" she asked dryly, obviously uncaring as to his opinion on the matter.

Dare looked coldly over his shoulder at Ivy, despite any accidental gratitude he might have felt during the shower itself. "Ecstatic," he said, then grabbed up his dirty shirt, the one he'd worn running away from her, running from Lalita, and rolling on the ground in, and lobbed it at her. His lips twisted into a smirk as he reached for the clean pants she'd given him.

Ivy ducked, but the filthy cloth still nicked her in the head. "Ugh," she said, nose wrinkling, "I don't think I've ever been more glad I'm not a guy." She stared down in disgust at the shirt before turning her attention back to Dare. She would be glad to be away from him when this was over, though she knew that right now it was a necessity.

Dare chose not to respond to that, and concentrated on tugging his pants into place. It wouldn't help his case at all if he told her what a raging b~ she was. He took his sweet time getting dressed, even if he was already worn out just from standing so long. He hadn't been loose this long, not since before. Was there a before? It felt like he'd always been here, tied to a bed or chair being stared at and taunted. He started eying the nearest window from behind his fringe, wondering if she'd even bother stunning him, or just AK his ass and let Michael find his body.

Ivy would stun him, since she wasn't quite to the point of using an Unforgivable, at least not actually using one for a result. "Finished?" she asked, wand still on him as she watched closely to make sure nothing would happen. If he so much as twitched in the wrong direction she had no problems sending a spell his way.

Dare didn't respond. His clothes were on, but he didn't want to be tied back up. He'd so demand to do his hair if he thought she'd let him. His eyes closed briefly as he realized the comfort and protection his fringe gave him was shot. His hair would start curling up soon. He didn't give a flying fire slug how he looked, but he liked his distance.
His legs were protesting the continued support of his weight. Dare fought, but he'd been standing for a while now, moving, and without food or water for so long, he didn't have the energy to keep it up. He'd ignored any shakiness, forced his mind to keep working, but he was tired now. He finally sat where he was, cross-legged and bent slightly over his knees. He hoped Michael stayed away, if only so Ivy couldn't do this to him, too. And yet he wanted Michael desperately.

"You know, if you hadn't tried to run that first day, I might just have let you go without being tied," Ivy pointed out as she fixed his wrists again. But no, he had felt it necessary to try to run, and so he would have the pleasure of ropes around his wrists. "But you just had to run off, and now you have those nice little red marks on your wrists."

"F~ you," Dare said, and again, louder, "F~ you, little vindictive b~, you're after the wrong f~ing guy! Soren F~ing Hardt killed himself 'cause Michael ruined his plans, cause he wouldn't join the f~ing Death Eaters, and you're after Michael? Go f~ing spit on Soren's grave, he's the bastard that put the f~ing chain around Michael's neck! And go f~ yourself while you're at it..."

Ivy's eyes darkened and she glared for a few long moments before she stepped closer to Dare. "You have a brother, right? Tell me, tell me, that you wouldn't do the same thing if he died because of someone he loved." And if he did say yes, then it was a lie, or he was heartless, either one. Or maybe he didn't even care about his brother as much as she cared about her sister.

Dare glared right back, not shrinking a bit from the eye contact anymore. "I'd f~ing go after the right person," he growled. "Did you not f~ing think before you decided it was all f~ing Michael's fault? Or did you pick the most convenient f~ing target 'cause you knew Michael wouldn't fight back? What the f~ did he do when you harassed him? F~ing crucio you? F~ing brainless! F~ing angry little kid taking it out whoever you can f~ing get!"

"It was him! It was him that dated her, him that brought her to his house, him that put her in harm's way! If it wasn't for him she'd still be alive! He could have refused to do what his damn father wanted, he could have gone to Aurors, but he didn't!" Ivy could have been glad that Dare was talking, but it was just proving to her again how well Michael had brainwashed all of these people.

"She could've gone to Aurors!" Dare shot back. "She could've gone to your f~ing parents, but she loved him, and when she died, do you think that's what he wanted? He left. He left his whole f~ing life and came here to get away from it! He didn't get anything out of your sister's death but pages of drawings of your sister, and no f~ing hope. He loved her, and you not wanting to hear it isn't gonna f~ing change it!"

Ivy shook her head in anger and frustration. "No! If he loved her he wouldn't have put her in danger like that! He would have broken up with her, not let her get taken and murdered by Death Eaters!" If Dare believed all of that, then there really was something wrong, or Michael was a very good liar. Either one seemed entirely plausible.
