"Spell wore off before I thought of-" Lalita coughed, glad for an excuse to not finish the sentence. After her sprint, air was only now starting to come in regularly. "So, how'd everything go on your end?" she asked when her cough stopped. With any luck, it would be better then it had been over here.

"Perfectly," Ivy said as they started up the stairs. "I swear he was almost crying by the time I left." It served him right, too. If anyone deserved something like this, then it was him. The night was going to be interesting, since she had no intention of leaving Dare alone in the Shack, but she could handle it with the thought that Michael was going to be miserable.

Lalita smiled, "Wonderful! What'd you say to Michael to get him to believe you?" If this really worked at perfectly, then she would be free to return to the campus without anyone knowing and continue on with normal life. It seemed odd how such a big deal like this was basically over now.

"Told him I was going to be with you," Ivy said, "Apparently Dare mentioned you before, because he recognized your name." Soon enough, they were back in the room Ivy had decided to use and she set to making sure Dare was secure enough to wake back up. She wasn't any closer to leaving him stunned than she was to leaving him alone for the night.

Lalita nodded, taking it in.She assumed Michael had friends...how many of them would know that a Lalita stole Dare away? There weren't many Lalitas out there. She kept her cool, knowing it was part of the plan but hadn't expected it to hit her as hard. Wouldn't it get traced back to them easily now if word got out? "So...now what?" She could handle people talking about her as long as she had something to do or look foreword to.

"Lay low for a couple of days," Ivy said. "I'll stay here with our darling little Dare here. We can meet up sometime later, maybe get Michael over here and pull that little prank I thought up." She thought it was a good idea, and it would give Michael the full taste of what it was like to lose someone that he was so close to and that meant so much to him.

"Okay that works." Lalita was glad of this break now. Ivy was defintely better at this stuff then she was. "If it's cool then, I'm gonna go. Need anything while we're here? I'm gonna get coffee. Want me to bring you some?" Coffee is exactly what she needed. Or a smoke. It seemed as if her agent was never going to call. What was one cigarette? Ugh, her conscience decided against it as she realized that coffee was the best way to go.

"I'm good, if I really need something I'll just stun him or something," Ivy said, shrugging as she straightened from securing Dare at the end of the bed. "You can go, I'll see you tomorrow." Besides, she had enough for dinner in the bag. She turned and murmured rennervate to bring Dare back, now that he was in no way getting free.

"Okay, see you later then." Lalita tried not to show that she was hapy to be leaving the Shack. With that, before Dare even awoke again, Lalita was out of the room and going down the stairs. TIme to lay low and drink coffee.

That had been one hell of a nightmare, and Dare wanted nothing more than to curl around Michael and reassure himself. But as he came to, Dare realized he wasn't in bed, and he couldn't feel Michael anywhere near him. He ached, and his head hung against his chest. He grimaced as he lifted it and tried to move his arms, only then realizing that they were tied behind him. The dream grew painfully vivid in his mind until he was forced to acknowledge that it wasn't a dream. The nightmare had become reality. He let his head hang again and refused to open his eyes. Unless he could think of some kind of miracle to get away, he'd rather withdraw into himself.

"Hello there, you won't be jumping out of another window anytime soon, will you?" Ivy said, moving to sit in front of him. She pulled the bag off her shoulder and set it in front of her and set to changing all of her clothes back. "That was pretty stupid, you know." Of all the things he could have done, he had jumped out a window.

Dare didn't respond. He wouldn't give her the satisfaction. It was one thing to fight and rage when he had a chance of escaping, but there was nothing he could do now, not with Ivy around. He would have liked to work at the bonds around his wrists, even if they were magical, but if she saw him, she'd likely make them worse.

"You know, Michael's pretty mad at me right now," Ivy said, finally finishing her transformation back into herself. "Or rather, he's pretty mad at you right now. Of course, I would probably feel horrible, too." She shrugged and started pulling things out of the bag, laying clothes to the side for whenever, if ever, she let him loose long enough to change clothes.

Dare's muscles tensed visibly, but he still refused to speak, or even to open his eyes. What had she done? No, he knew. He had a good enough idea, but he refused to acknowledge it. He told himself that if Michael was mad, he was alive, and that was what mattered. He'd offered up his life for Michael before, and though none of this made sense to him, he focused on that one simple fact. She hadn't killed Michael, and if she'd meant to kill him, she'd have done it by now.

"I figure we'll be seeing him sometime soon, once he gets done moping." Ivy had no pity for Michael, which was why she still wasn't done. If she was done she would have just let Dare go to attempt to patch things up. "Of course, I'll probably have to bring him over here..." That was the part she hadn't exactly figured out, but she was sure it would all work out.
