She snorted at his comment. Slytherins never went against there parents unlike herself, because there parents still didn't follow the rules their ancestry did during the 18th century.
"If that was the case then I would have an engagement ring on my finger and to be married by the end of next year." Storm remembered how her parents showed her a lot of suitors, none of them interested her.
"And after that I would be married to a mutt with a mistress and a girlfriend while I stay at home with 4 children as a housewife, please Michael, going against family value is about the best thing I've ever done." a mental image formed in her mind at how life would have been if she was to listen to her parents.

"I would have been exactly where I was before Dru," Michael said, smiling slightly. He went quiet for a few moments, thinking. "Do you think I should talk to her?" he asked, "Try to patch things up once and for all?" He looked up at her earnestly, sincerely wanting her opinion on the matter.

Storm thought for a second and nodded a smile graced her lips, she would be happy if he was able to work things out, even if his relationship with Dru could never be the same, it would be better to be friends, then to keep the awkward relationship they had present.
"There's no need to completely isolate your relationship at the back of your head, if you do nothing it will still be there and the thought will build up, I don't want you looking back years from now with anymore regrets." she placed a reassuring hand on his.
"It's best you do talk to her, or you'll keep questioning yourself on how life would have been if you did things differently." she knew she lived with regrets, but she would never go back in time and change them, it was what made her who she was, she would continue to repent, but for now it was enough to be the person she really was.

What would a life be like with Dru as a friend? She would be there, but just out of reach. "I'll talk to her sometime," he said, "To be friends with her....it would be a godsend." He could be happy being just friends with her, as long as she was happy. He wondered if his thoughts showed through his eyes. He smiled, "Thank you, you've helped me."

(( Sorry I never replied I had to reboot my computer then reinstall it, and then the power went down so it busted my pc, but it's fixed now!!)
She nodded her head and stood up she had realized that more people were coming in looking at her anxiously wanting there orders taken.
"I should be the one thanking you, I'm actually willing to fight for him, all is fair in love and war right?" she said then raised hand in goodbye.
"I'll see you around Michael." she turned around and went to the other customers who seemed quite irritated, she gave each of them apologetic smiles.

((It's fine, no worries))
Michael smiled, "Yeah, hopefully." He watched her walk around before standing, leaving a slightly larger amount of money than was needed for the butterbeer, and walking out the door.
