We really need to be more active . This placed used to have like 10 people online at once..Now we are lucky to have like 1 person . Come on guys ! Post some suggestions about ways to get more active.

Um...you can't really say much about it, I've only seen you post once in months, and you're very rarely on. Maybe if more of the old members, such as you, actually got on and posted more than once or twice a month, we could keep the new members instead of them running off.

Experience tells me (and don't laugh, I've been here since last fall) that the best way to get people to come on is to post. If it looks abandoned, who's going to stop? I'm posting every day and checking in on any other characters I won't admit to playing.
And yeah, I'm going to side with Michael here. I've got threads started with some of the older members who up and disappeared. Oh, and you didn't happen to see that I was asking for an RP in the RP board did you? Whoever you are? (I don't believe you've posted at all since I registered. and I've got about 960 more posts than you.) No offense, of course.

Yeah, shut it, Markise. While we're playing the most posts game, you might want to pay attention to the other regulars around here.
And Larten, ever thought about getting a friend to sign up? Or starting a new thread somewhere? I agree with Markise that we'll get more action by giving more action. So give us a hand and maybe something good will come of it.

Well.
I am sorry about my absence , but I am going to start coming back on. Markise you have more post than me because I stopped playing like almost a year ago. I couldn't believe that Michael and Dare and some others are still here. But if Hells doesn't get on then we can't get new members. I left and then Cassie left ...and then some other people left. And Markise I didn't know who you were and I didn't have any ideas of a RP at that moment , sorry.

And actually, Hells comes on every night most times. If she happens to be gone the few days you first decide to come back, you can't blame her. About a month ago we had a huge influx of new members, and they were active for a couple weeks, but there weren't quite enough old members around to interest them, since they were all from a site that had just died.
And I didn't realize you needed to know someone else's character to start a thread meeting them. I'm the one who posted the request, and so it would have been my responsibility to think of something. I don't want this to sound like an attack, because it's not, but we've been discussing the same issues with the lack of activity, and it's easy to latch onto it.
