Ariel sighed and pressed one last kiss to Markise's lips before forcing himself to pull away. He paused for a moment to get his bearings after standing there holding Markise for so long. Then he glanced out over the lake before wrapping the cloak tightly around himself again. A few moments later they turned and headed up to the castle.
