Ariel's breath caught slightly as sensation rushed through him, and he paused for a moment to get used to it before focusing it all into the kiss. One hand moved, finding its way just under the back of Markise's waistband, unable to remain still, even though it just made his other arm hold more weight. He pushed away the memory of how his knees had gone weak the last times he had been with Markise, they were in water.

Markise loved the feel of this, something he actually hadn't done before, or at the least, somewhere he hadn't done it. And everything was better with Ariel, more intense, far more pleasurable. Markise didn't stop what he was doing, but went on, purposefully inciting Ariel and letting his mind go completely. Again. There was no thought when they were together like this, and it was exactly how he liked it.

Ariel braced his legs as he tried to keep his balance, forehead resting against Markise's as he tried to regain some form of control. He was already so addicted to being with Markise that he couldn't imagine how in the world he had gotten through the years without anything. His arms were tight around Markise and his eyes were closed as he felt his heart rate began to drop, so very slowly.

Markise sighed with contentment as his legs stretched down, his feet pressing lightly into the soft dirt at the bottom of the lake. This was so good. As demanding as Ariel could be, Markise felt a measure of power in this sphere that never failed to send a thrill through his blood. Ariel had controlled the kiss that had started it, but somewhere along the way they'd both ended up needing more. Markise's eyes slid open, waterproof mascara all the makeup he was wearing anymore, and watched Ariel with hazy eyes. Markise was so addicted to this.

Ariel shifted his weight on his feet lightly, trying to get his knees to work properly again, and spread his hands out on Markise's back. "All mine," he said softly, repeating what he was sure he had already said more than once. But he liked saying it, and he couldn't help the boost it gave him to know that it was true. He opened his eyes and looked down at Markise's, his own just as hazy over the light glint that was there.

A shiver raced down Markise's spine at that declaration, so soft, but with a core of steel. And the look in Ariel's eyes made him weak. So weak. "All yours," he whispered, even if he could hardly believe it was true. Markise had forgotten entirely about everything that had happened before their heated interlude. All he could see right now was those light brown eyes, and all he could feel was warmth. He was so completely lost.

"Let's get back to shore before you actually do get a cramp," Ariel suggested lightly, loosening his arms gently, but not pulling them back just yet. Besides, he wanted to go and lay down in the sun, it would be a nice change from the cold water, however much he did love that water. He didn't think about going and then having others possibly see, his mind was still too hazy to think that far.

Markise nodded, his gaze flickering briefly to Ariel's lips a moment before he managed to pull back. When he was sure he had his footing, he looked past Ariel, scanning the shoreline. It was clear, so he gave Ariel a meaningful look, then headed past him, making his way back to shore. The sun felt amazing on his skin as he got out of the water. With the heat of it, the rivulets of cool water trailing over him were a relief, and the sun was a relief from the cool. Markise shook his head lightly to get some of the water out of his hair, then reached up to tousle it a bit as he waited for Ariel.

Ariel followed behind, a little slower as he watched Markise, watched the sun catching the water on his back and making small flashes come from them. Then he couldn't help but enjoy when he watched Markise run his hands up into his hair. Ariel came up and shook his head, not caring enough to run his fingers through it just yet, he would when it was dry. He looked over at his clothes, thinking about putting them on, but decided to dry off first with the sun and laid down with his hands behind his head and his ankles crossed.

Markise couldn't stop himself from looking over Ariel all stretched out like that, letting his eyes trail a slow path down and another back up, stopping at those intense eyes. Right now, Ariel was the perfect image of temptation. Markise's lips quirked, and he gave another look toward the path into the clearing they were in, then invited himself to lie down beside Ariel. He stretched one leg down and bent the other slightly, and brought his arms up, resting his hands palm-up on the grass just above his hair. "I think I'm getting to like swimming," he told Ariel.

Ariel looked over at Markise, his own eyes trailing over him before focusing on his face. "It's almost too late to be swimming," he said, somewhat bitterly. To think that he wasn't going to be able to swim all winter...it was going to be slow torture for Ariel. He didn't really know how he was supposed to survive it. Yes, he had caught what Markise meant, but still he couldn't keep from mourning the loss of swimming whenever he wanted to.

Markise nodded, catching Ariel's reference easily. He'd hoped that Ariel might play along, but couldn't claim any real surprise that he hadn't. "I'm sure you'll find something to do," Markise said, trying to reassure Ariel, even if he knew it was a hopeless task. "Didn't you say you run?" There were more than enough empty corridors for that, at least. Markise could imagine that if there was a pool it would be full all the time anyway.

Ariel nodded, he did, but he would much, much rather swim. "I can't believe a school this big doesn't have a pool," he said, his eyes narrowing slightly as he turned his head back to look up into the sky. "I mean, yeah, there's running, but it's nothing compared to swimming." Swimming had always been there, had helped him cope with so much, he couldn't stand the thought of leaving it.

Markise was silent a moment, thinking about that. He might have said that it was better than being at his old school, but what if Markise had to choose between the safety of Hogwarts and his fashion fetish at SWIM? He mentally winced at realizing he felt actual indecision at the thought. He knew he would choose to leave SWIM anyway, but he'd wonder, and he just might regret it. "I'll have to keep you busy enough to survive winter intact," Markise said at last. He closed his eyes against the sun and just soaked it up, waiting for the muscle-deep warmth that would tell him it was time to turn over.

Ariel actually smirked a little at that idea, he could live with that, though he knew that even spending time with Markise couldn't replace swimming entirely. "I suppose you'll be enough," he said, heaving an exaggerated sigh, then looking over at Markise with a laughing glint in his eyes. Markise would be enough to let him survive the winter, surely, even if Ariel was still craving to go swim by the end of the winter.
