Silver nodded. "Yeah, I'll do that," he said. Silver glanced at Dare, then looked up at Michael. "It was nice meeting you," he said, then looked back at his brother. "I think I'll just hang out here. Write some more sonnets to Dru." He looked down at his book, but his lips curved into a self-deprecating smile. He probably would end up writing a sonnet, though he didn't think he'd be reading it to Dru.

Silver gave his brother a glare that was only half mocking. He suddenly had a feeling next time he saw Dru, his mind was going to jump straight through his brother's hoop. He shook his head and opened his notebook, re-reading a bit to see where he'd been, then absorbing himself in the story again. If he thought there was anything strange about his brother and Michael, it wasn't enough to penetrate through his own personal drama. Eventually, Silver packed up and headed back to the castle, finally secure in his decision to just take Dru one step at a time.
