That was good enough of an answer. Vannah jumped up and grabbed the vile with the potion for pain. She forced his mouth to open and tilted the vile upward so it would drain into his mouth. She waited for its effect to take place. "Better?" She asked standing over him.

Ryan calmed down finally and looked at Vannah "For now" he said softly. He started to go through in his mind what just happened.

Vannah knelt down next to his bed. She wouldn't take her eyes off of him. She felt kind of helpless and she could tell by his expression he was somewhere in his deep thought. And she had a good idea of what those thoughts were. She sighed.

Vannah smiled when he looked at her, but his expression worried her. Would he be alright? She hoped so. Her eyelids were heavy and she was tired, but she was determined not to leave. She lifted her free hand and gently brushed back some hair that fell into his face. "It will be alright." She said hoping she sounded convinced.

Vannah smiled and nodded like she was expected, like a good little girl. It would be alright...eventually. But he had been engaged. It wasn't just some fling, and if it was that worried her more, but an engagement takes much more time to get over. Especially one that ended like this.

Vannah smiled and locked her eyes with his. "I love you too, babe." She said. Vannah sat on the side of his bed. She played with his hair some and just kept smiling.

Ryan smiled and looked at Vannah "So how long did you have to stay in here after your fight with Gabby?" he asked, knowing that how ever long she stayed was how long he was staying.

Vannah's smile faded a little. "I wouldn't worry about that." She said. The two and a half weeks she had spent in the hospital week were the most boring two and a half weeks of her life. The main reason was because of the cut Emilian gave her. Opened a third time and wouldn't seal willingly. "It's different. And your wounds are almost healed. It won't be long." She said giving him a reassuring smile.

Vannah smiled. She stood up from the bed and smothed her clothes out. "Listen, I've got to go." She said. "But I'll be back later. As soon as I can. There's someone I need to go talk to. I've been putting it off for a while, and I promised Pandora and Lucretia I would." She leaned down and kissed him softly before standing back up. "Let me know if anything changes, okay?"

"I have some unfinished buisness to discuss with the new flying teacher." Vannah said as if she were calm. "He ook something from me a few years ago, and I would really like it back." She said as if she were about to fight for something as careless as a trophy.
