Ryan started to cry as she listed all of the things, not knowing what he could say.

Gabby bit her lip, she hadn't meant to make him cry, but it had to be said. "Ryan I'm sorry but it's true." she sighed then decided to try a different tactic. "If I asked you to, would you marry me right not and never see her again?" she asked, holding her breath. She thought that he would agree to the first part no problem, it was the never seeing Vannah again part that was a gamble.

Gabby nodded numbly. "I knew you would say that." she mumbled. She sat up and twisted round so she had her back to him and her legs were hanging off the edge of the bed. She wiped away a tear that rolled down her cheek before Ryan could see it. "Sweetie you've done it before, and I haven't down anything, I haven't said a word. I thought my ring would make it better. But I can't handle it" she said, her voice nearly broke as she was talking but she held it together. She looked down at her ring and thought about all it meant to her, and the seemingly minute amount it meant to Ryan in comparison.

His perpetual tears were starting to irritate Gabby but she took a few deep breaths. She knew that as soon as he thought she was gone, or if she left, then Vannah would be here, by his side. "Ryan please" she started. "I'm not going anywhere as I know that as soon as I go. She will be here." she finished. She turned to him so she could see him, but didn't know how to continue.

Ryan wiped the tears from his eyes, blindsided by her words and not knowing how to reply.

"Well, it's true isn't it?" she demanded, though her voice wasn't as harsh as before. "She can't keep away." she added bitterly.

Gabby shook her head in disgust. "Ryan, I know that she can't help herself. But you're engaged to me. Does that mean nothing to you?" she asked incredulously as she played with her ring, sliding it on and off her finger. She knew that Ryan could see what she was doing and she knew it would probably serve to only provoke a reaction.

"Then what does it mean?" she asked. "Because my understanding of being engaged, is that you don't walk around kissing everyone else. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong because then I'll go and kiss the next guy I see" she said sarcastically. Gabby knew she should remain calm, and that Ryan hadn't seen this side of her before, but she was beyond caring at the moment.

Ryan looked at her "IM SORRY GABBY! I MESSED UP. I DON'T KNOW HOW ELSE I CAN SAY IT." he said as he bursted into tears unable to control himself anymore.

Gabby sat there, stunned at his outburst for a few moments. Then she too dissolved in tears. She twisted so she was lying next to Ryan again and she clung to him, forgetting her anger and only remembering her love. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" she whispered through her tears. "I was just so hurt" she said, trying to excuse her behaviour. "I'm sorrry" she repeated, turning to look at him, showing him that she was telling the truth.
